It is only after the deficit begins to expand again that the economy recovers. The historical correlation is 100%….
Contrary to general perception, fiat money is driven by the fact that taxpayers need the government’s money to pay their taxes. … so it can obtain the real goods and services it desires via the spending of its currency.
…. Treasury spending is a reserve add. Selling securities, by the Fed or Treasury, is simply a reserve drain, a monetary operation. This underlies the empirical evidence that nations can run any debt ratios they want, in their own fiat currencies, and still “fund the debt.”
How large a deficit is prudent? …., the government could offer a job to anyone who wanted one, at some minimum rate of pay deemed appropriate, and let the deficit float. This would end unemployment and unemployment compensation, eliminate the need for minimum wage laws, and promote price stability,…
The Federal debt is all the money spent but not taxed. …
The current budget debate is based on erroneous assumptions. Washington does not understand fiat money. Until it does, efforts to reduce the deficit will continue, and the economy will continue to underperform.

Applause during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to the Canadian Parliament for an immigrant “model Ukrainian” – but according to political scientist Ivan Katchanovski, he was a veteran of the 14th Waffen SS Division.
If the current allegations of the well-known political scientist and ex-Harvard professor Ivan Kalchanovski are confirmed, then the Ukrainian government has another problem – because the Russian media will probably also show these images from the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa: This is what is shown on a video Clip to see how Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj (45) and his First Lady Olena (45) next to Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (51) as well as all MPs applaud an older gentleman in the spectator gallery – the standing ovation counts as this Yaroslav Hunka (98) from Ukraine was presented as a model migrant.
His life and his successful migration to Canada were intended to prove how closely Ottawa is connected to Kiev.
However, just a short time later, a posting by the political scientist Ivan Katchanovski on who is said to have committed numerous war crimes against Polish citizens and Jews.
In addition to operations at the front, young Ukrainians in this division, nicknamed “Galicia,” were often also involved in “anti-partisan combat” in the rear, which was usually nothing more than a cover for the war of extermination against the civilian population. In 1944/45 these volunteers took part in many war crimes in Poland and occupied Czechoslovakia. On May 8, 1945, the remnants of the division surrendered to British troops.
Political scientist stunned: “Ukrainian hero?” When he saw these scenes from the acclaimed appearance of the Ukrainian senior Yaroslav Hunka in parliament, the political scientist Ivan Katchanovski was stunned: “This is really unbelievable. This veteran of the SS Galicia Division has now been called a ‘Ukrainian Hero’ and a ‘Canadian Hero’ by the Speaker of the Canadian Parliament – and he thanked him ‘for his service’. Did anyone in parliament or Zelensky know that he served in the Waffen-SS division?”
As evidence of his allegations, the political scientist and author also posted photos on the web that allegedly show the soldier Yaroslav Hunka: “These are photos of the veteran of the SS Galicia Division, who was represented by the Canadian Parliament, the Canadian Prime Minister and the President of Ukraine received a standing ovation. He published these photos of himself in this department during his training in Germany.”
If the allegations are confirmed, this episode in the Canadian Parliament will be a serious embarrassment for the intelligence services in Canada and Ukraine: the fact that they have forgotten to check the life story of the Ukrainian model migrant presented and thus ensure that two Heads of state celebrating a Waffen SS veteran should not be inconvenient for Moscow – after all, Russian propaganda has been spreading the narrative for months that the invasion of Ukraine was used to combat National Socialists.

It has come out today that Justin Trudeau personally met with and honoured a veteran of the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (a Nazi division). Ç
Liberals then arranged for this Nazi veteran to be recognized on the floor of the House of Commons during the visit of the Ukrainian President.
This is an appalling error in judgement on the part of Justin Trudeau, whose personal protocol office is responsible for arranging and vetting all guests and programming for state visits of this kind.
No parliamentarians (other than Justin Trudeau) had the opportunity to vet this individual’s past before he was introduced and honoured on the floor of the House of Commons. Without warning or context, it was impossible for any parliamentarian in the room (other than Mr. Trudeau) to know of this dark past.
Mr. Trudeau must personally apologize and avoid passing the blame to others as he always does.

Russia’s UN initiative on combatting Nazism and neo-Nazism has easily passed, every single time since it was first introduced. Yet we witness a strange phenomena in the voting record: Canada, the US, Ukraine, and the EU — all the supposedly anti-fascist liberal democracies — either abstain or vote against it.
The Realpolitik explanation is that the Western russo-hysteric cabal doesn’t want to lend Russia any credence to its claims that Ukraine has a neo-Nazi problem. Voting in favor would be seen as validating the claim, and even if Russia is absolutely 100% correct, the cabal can never admit Russia is right about something. Russia must always be regarded as the enemy of the West, for no other reason than just because.
The main ramification being that Canada would have to rethink its unquestioning support for Ukraine and that Russia and the separatist regions would be seen as justified in their rejection of the Kiev coup regime.

In WW2 over 42,000 Canadian servicemen died fighting the NAZIs.
September 2023 the entire Canadian parliament stood to applaud & honour a veteran of the Waffen SS & thank him for his service during the war.
