The Joe Rogan Experience so with things

0:04

like funding the Ukraine war with Russia

0:07

please explain to people what that means

0:10

and why why we’re sending so much money

0:14

over to Ukraine

0:17

um

0:17

so so let’s start with with that let’s

0:19

start with the military industrial

0:21

complex what is it who is it it is these

0:25

massive defense corporations who make uh

0:30

all these different weapon systems from

0:32

the smallest to the most powerful

0:34

nuclear weapons and missiles uh

0:37

when we are at War they make a lot of

0:40

money uh when politicians even if we’re

0:44

not at War but are threatening that we

0:47

may go to war they make a lot of money

0:49

and these decisions are not made within

0:51

the context of hey what is our military

0:54

actually need what do we need to ensure

0:58

that our military is ready to defend our

1:01

country and our national security

1:02

interests it is uh very often what

1:07

members of Congress are advocating for

1:08

even more than the military is asking

1:10

for sometimes because of those relation

1:13

those cozy relationships with the

1:16

military-industrial complex with these

1:17

massive defense contractors and their

1:19

lobbyists so there’s a direct there’s a

1:22

direct correlation as the money is

1:24

changing hands there

1:26

um

1:28

the the problem is not with the

1:30

Democratic party the Republican party on

1:32

this issue and you see this so much

1:34

divisiveness on tons of other issues

1:36

facing our country everything from

1:38

infrastructure to education all these

1:40

other things you see like oh my gosh

1:41

Democrats and Republicans can’t agree on

1:43

anything

1:44

this issue of

1:47

putting our country in a continual state

1:49

of war is supported by leaders in both

1:53

parties and the majority of people in

1:55

both parties and it’s directly tied to

1:57

the military-industrial complex’s

1:59

influence and tied to people who you

2:03

know want to act and look tough but

2:05

aren’t asking the most important

2:08

questions like okay if we do this will

2:11

this help the American people or hurt

2:12

the American people if we vote to you

2:16

know send these billions of dollars to

2:19

Ukraine is that strengthening our

2:21

national security or undermining it

2:24

you’ll hear a lot of rhetoric especially

2:27

recently saying hey if we we’ve got to

2:31

send all this money to Ukraine otherwise

2:34

Russia is going to come and attack us

2:36

here otherwise our National Security

2:38

will be undermined so they say all these

2:40

things to foment fear in people’s minds

2:42

but they’re not rooted in reality

2:45

so what we’re seeing play out now is

2:49

essentially a proxy war U.S is engaging

2:53

in a proxy war with Russia using Ukraine

2:56

as their military so the U.S and some

2:59

European countries predominantly the us

3:00

though are providing billions of dollars

3:03

in funding weapon systems and so forth

3:06

and essentially waging this war using

3:08

the Ukrainian military and people as

3:11

their chess pieces in this geopolitical

3:14

um chess game the ultimate objective

3:18

being regime change with Russia and you

3:20

can see years before

3:23

um obviously Russia’s invasion in

3:25

Ukraine uh this this anti-russia

3:29

sentiment has been building up by the

3:32

the permanent Washington establishment

3:34

and laying the groundwork and this was

3:37

the opportunity that they saw

3:39

um it’s put us in the most dangerous

3:43

position we the American people and the

3:48

world has ever been in

3:50

in that we a nuclear war could break out

3:54

in a week in 30 days we we are staring

3:58

over the precipice of that nuclear Brink

4:01

now more than ever before

4:03

we’re hearing language coming from Putin

4:06

from Medvedev from different Uh Russian

4:09

nationalist leaders saying no Putin you

4:13

should go and use those nuclear weapons

4:15

whether they’re the Tactical nukes or

4:17

the Strategic nukes doesn’t matter there

4:19

is no way to win this that would Spark

4:23

a nuclear war it would spark World War

4:27

III and the result of that is

4:30

destruction of the world it is

4:32

destruction of the world as we know it

4:34

and you know I I hate to to paint such a

4:38

bleak picture but this is people need to

4:40

know that this is the reality that we’re

4:42

facing that our leaders have pushed us

4:45

and led us to this brink of nuclear war

4:48

they have their own bunkers and and ways

4:52

to protect themselves

4:54

there is no shelter for the American

4:57

people I I think it was last time I was

4:59

here I talked to you about the you know

5:01

the the nuclear scare that we had in

5:03

Hawaii and how you know this message

5:05

went out to everybody saying hey uh

5:08

missile incoming you know seek shelter

5:10

immediately this is not a drill what

5:12

everybody found out immediately is there

5:15

is no shelter there is no shelter

5:17

there’s no place to go there’s no place

5:20

where uh you can take your loved ones

5:22

and your kids to be protected not only

5:24

from the blast but the Fallout and the

5:27

lack of food and water and everything

5:29

else that that comes after

5:32

um uh New York uh New York City recently

5:35

put out a PSA I don’t know if you saw it

5:37

but it it is literally a video ad that

5:40

they put out saying hey here’s what you

5:42

do in the event of a nuclear explosion

5:46

why are they putting this out now

5:47

because of where we are as a country the

5:50

problem is as it shows in this video

5:52

their advice to the people of New York

5:55

City is get inside stay inside and stay

6:00

tuned

6:01

that’s it stay tuned to what

6:03

the radio I guess I mean what is even

6:06

going to be available that’s my point

6:08

that is exactly my point there will be

6:11

no power there will be no infrastructure

6:13

there will be no you know you see what’s

6:15

happening in Florida right now with the

6:18

recovery efforts after uh this hurricane

6:21

just swept through and demolished it you

6:23

think about that multiply that by like I

6:25

don’t know 50 000 times the devastation

6:28

is what we would see but we wouldn’t

6:30

have FEMA we wouldn’t have these First

6:32

Responders who are able to actually go

6:34

out and help people and the worst thing

6:36

man the worst thing I said when I

6:38

watched that PSA get inside stay inside

6:40

stay tuned at the end I’m assuming as an

6:43

actor they hired to do this she looks in

6:45

the camera and she’s like you got this

6:48

New York like what in the world these

6:51

these people are creating this false

6:53

sense of security for the American

6:55

people saying like oh yeah take shelter

6:57

but there is no we should watch that

7:00

because it’s so crazy it is insane we

7:03

should let’s watch that because it’s

7:04

it’s

7:10

clear attack don’t ask me how or why

7:13

just know that the big one has hit okay

7:15

so what do we do there are three

7:19

important steps that I want you to

7:20

remember

7:21

one get inside fast you your friends

7:26

your family get inside and no staying in

7:30

the car is not an option you need to get

7:32

into a building and move away from the

7:34

windows

7:36

look at her Smiles I know step two

7:40

stay inside shut all doors and windows

7:43

have a basement head there if you don’t

7:47

have one get as far into the middle of

7:49

the building as possible

7:51

if you were outside after the blast get

7:54

clean immediately remove and bag all

7:57

outer clothing to keep radioactive dust

8:00

or Ash away from your body

8:03

step three stay tuned follow media for

8:07

more information don’t forget to sign up

8:10

for notify NYC for official alerts and

8:12

updates

8:14

and don’t go outside until officials say

8:17

it’s safe all right you’ve got this

8:24

okay

8:26

she’s gonna tell you like who’s the

8:28

officials people that they elected who

8:31

who who’s gonna tell you it’s okay to go

8:33

outside during a nuclear blast in the

8:35

United States something that’s never

8:37

happened ever and that we’re completely

8:39

woefully unprepared for exactly you got

8:41

this you got this she’s so pretty though

8:43

yeah she’s got a nice smile got a great

8:46

smile that’s probably hired her it’s

8:49

that is a crazy thing to put out there

8:51

first of all because like what is it

8:54

what’s the purpose of that is that to

8:56

reassure people like what is the purpose

8:58

of that yeah it’s not to inform people

9:00

because none of what she said makes any

9:01

sense no oh get in the middle of the

9:03

room well that’s okay right the

9:05

outside’s not good just stay away in the

9:06

window the middle is not going to be

9:07

because the radiation is not just stays

9:10

put yeah it’s kind of like a fog machine

9:13

yeah you know just doesn’t doesn’t get

9:15

inside like what I um I was in I think

9:18

it was after my second deployment uh

9:21

when I came back from the Middle East I

9:22

went on a trip and did some travel uh

9:25

through Eastern Europe and went down

9:26

actually visited Chernobyl and it was

9:30

astonishing to me even decades after

9:33

that happened because I was curious I’d

9:35

heard about it and it’s like okay

9:37

um

9:39

went on this little bus and went out

9:41

there they gave us these radiation

9:44

monitors these handheld radiation

9:46

monitors so that wherever we were you

9:49

know you could kind of test and see

9:50

where the radiation still existed

9:53

they’re like oh you’re gonna see apple

9:55

trees and things like that don’t eat any

9:58

of the fruit

9:59

because it’s contaminated it is still

10:02

contaminated decades later walking

10:04

through the middle of the town I know

10:06

everyone’s seen the pictures and

10:07

obviously now with that Chernobyl series

10:09

I think that Netflix did

10:12

um more and more people know the story

10:13

but

10:15

you know walking through like the school

10:17

and the classrooms where

10:19

the desks and the books and the kids

10:22

shoes and the deflated basketballs

10:24

everything is still there

10:28

um in the way that it was when people

10:30

fled and had to evacuate when that

10:33

nuclear plant melted down uh it was so

10:37

Eerie walking through there

10:39

um you could you could almost kind of

10:41

feel

10:43

feel the heaviness of of what happened

10:46

there and then as as we were leaving

10:48

after we left and were crossing back

10:51

into Ukraine

10:53

um we had to go through these like

10:55

before we got on the bus we had to go

10:57

through these radiation

10:59

um kind of like the thing you walk

11:01

through in TSA except it tests for

11:03

radiation to make sure you’re not

11:05

actually bringing any contaminants with

11:06

you back into society all of that is to

11:10

say like this is what we’re talking

11:11

about so you see that kind of video and

11:14

you see how completely out of touch it

11:16

is with the reality of what could happen

11:20

uh in the event in the event of a

11:22

nuclear attack and the fact that you

11:24

know Russia’s got what over 6 000

11:27

nuclear warheads the United States has

11:29

over 5 000 nuclear warheads both

11:31

countries making up 90 percent of the

11:34

total number of nuclear warheads that

11:36

exist in the world

11:39

and literally it would just take the

11:41

flick of a match to spark this war off

11:44

and that’s where say okay well

11:46

you hear President Biden say well this

11:48

is Putin’s War this is Putin’s fault

11:50

it’s it’s Putin who’s who’s who’s uh the

11:53

the one who’s solely responsible well

11:55

the United States and some of these

11:56

European NATO countries are fueling this

11:59

war

12:00

and need to provide the leadership to

12:04

bring about a negotiated outcome that is

12:06

exactly what needs to happen here to

12:09

prevent the destruction of the planet

12:10

and and Life as We Know It uh they’re

12:16

not doing that and in doing so they are

12:19

failing the American people and putting

12:21

us in this position of

12:24

foreign

12:29

do you think that whoever the powers

12:32

would be and whatever the influence is

12:34

from the military industrial complex

12:36

that they are trying to prolong this in

12:40

order to profit so they’re trying to

12:43

continue to fund Ukraine this it gives

12:46

them an excellent reason to ramp up

12:49

budgets and keep shipping over weapons

12:51

and arms they keep making more and more

12:54

profit and just get us right to the

12:56

point where it gets squirrely well Putin

12:59

won’t do it he won’t do it he won’t do

13:01

it but if he does it there’s no pulling

13:04

back from that there’s the only reason

13:06

why we would ever get to that point is

13:08

because people are trying to make more

13:10

money

13:11

that is that is certainly a major driver

13:14

I have no doubt about that

13:16

I am concerned that

13:19

we may we may have passed that point uh

13:24

already

13:25

um

13:26

you’re talking about people pushing us

13:28

right up right up to the line and then

13:31

just saying well you know the whole

13:33

theory of of nuclear weapons is one of

13:36

mutually assured destruction right like

13:37

there’s no way Putin will ever launch

13:39

this because of that fear of like okay

13:43

well we will all be destroyed if that

13:46

happens

13:47

and they’re saying you know

13:50

Putin has many things but he’s not crazy

13:52

there’s no way he’s going to do this

13:53

well they’re talking about doing it they

13:56

change their nuclear weapons policy so

13:58

that according to their laws they would

14:00

be authorized to use a nuclear weapon if

14:03

they are facing any kind of existential

14:05

threat whether it’s coming from a

14:07

nuclear Source or not and and you look

14:10

at

14:11

um

14:12

the situation that that Putin is in

14:15

right now he’s boxed into a corner he’s

14:18

lost face he uh

14:22

he is he is in a place where he may feel

14:26

like he has nothing else to lose

14:29

and and you you you find that same kind

14:31

of mentality in people who are you know

14:34

suicidal or people who are bullied or

14:36

people who feel like they’re

14:39

their best option is is a way out

14:43

and so to say to be so dismissive and

14:46

say well you know Putin’s not crazy he’s

14:48

not gonna he’s not gonna do this

14:51

um it it denies the reality of the

14:55

position uh that he’s in
