Totally agree with the “premise.” What is the rationale for believing better days are coming? MMT continues to be disparaged (or simply ignored) by those with the greatest potential to create change.

Most of the so-called critiques of MMT coming from mainstream economists these days are downright embarrassing. The Larry Summers article demonstrates that he only understands about 1 sentence of MMT. Did standards for academics used to be higher than this? #ActuallyLearnMMT
