These were Hind’s final words — recorded on a phone call as she lay trapped in a car surrounded by Israeli tanks, her family already killed beside her.
A new Al Jazeera investigation has now identified the Israeli soldiers and units involved in the killing of Hind, her six family members, and two Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics who tried to rescue her on January 29, 2024.
The investigation used forensic analysis, military radio intercepts, and eyewitness accounts to confirm that the family’s car was deliberately targeted — and that the paramedics who arrived to save her were also executed moments later.
Israel continues to deny responsibility, but evidence presented by Al Jazeera, the Hind Rajab Foundation, and human rights groups points to a pattern of deliberate targeting of civilians and aid workers.
Hind’s story has become a symbol of Gaza’s children — and a test of whether the world will hold Israel accountable.
Hind Rajab was 6 years old when she was murdered by Israeli forces. She died alone, trapped in a car, surrounded by the dead bodies of her family.
WE WILL NEVER FORGET, WE WILL NEVER FORGIVE.
We don’t hate them enough.

Exposed The IDF Commander That Ordered Attack on Hind Rajab
Al Jazeera revealed that Major Sean Glass, commander of the “Vampire Empire” unit in Israel’s 52nd Battalion, personally gave the order from inside a tank to open fire on the car carrying Hind Rajab and her family.

Here’s a brief summary of some of the latest developments this week in Palestine. Since the ceasefire came into
0:06
effect on October 10th, Israel has continued to violate the basic terms of the agreement, including killing and
0:14
injuring Palestinians while man while maintaining restrictions on food and
0:19
humanitarian aid entering Gaza. On Friday, October 17th, at least 11 people
0:26
from the same family were killed in an Israeli attack on a car in Alzet neighborhood of Gaza City. Journalist
0:33
Side Hazbalah filmed relatives mourning over the bodies of their loved ones at
0:38
Al Ai Arab Hospital in Gaza City. Of the 11 people killed, seven were children
0:45
between five and 13 years old. Hazbah said that Israel bombed the vehicle as
0:51
they were checking on their destroyed home. Quote, “They had hoped the war was over, that they could return to live
0:57
upon the rubble of their house, but the occupation’s artillery ended their lives
1:02
the moment they arrived,” he stated on social media. Gaza’s civil defense stated that rescue
1:09
workers recovered the bodies of nine of the victims, but the bodies of two children were were not recoverable as
1:16
they were torn apart due to the intensity of the bombardment and the difficult field and environmental
1:22
conditions in the area. On Sunday, October 19th, Israel attacked
1:28
areas across the Gaza Strip with more than 20 air strikes after the Israeli army claimed that Palestinian resistance
1:35
forces had fired on an Israeli tank in the southern city of Rafa. But the
1:40
Cassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas political party, said it was unaware of any events or clashes taking
1:47
place in the Rafa area and noted that Israel had already been violating the
1:53
terms of the ceasefire. According to Drop Site Newses, Ryan Grim, the
1:58
explosion was caused by an Israeli vehicle running over ordinance as the army was demolishing what was left of
2:04
houses in Rafa. Grim said, quote, “Soon after the explosion in Rafa, I’m told by
2:11
a source familiar, the White House and Pentagon knew that the incident was caused by an Israeli settler bulldozer
2:18
running over unexloded ordinance, contradicting Netanyahu’s claim that Hamas had popped up from tunnels.”
2:26
Nevertheless, Israel took the opportunity to conduct massive air strikes as Prime Minister and war crimes
2:32
fugitive Benjamin Netanyahu announced that all crossings into Gaza for
2:37
humanitarian aid were once again being closed as collective punishment.
2:43
Journalist Ahmed Nofal uploaded this clip of the aftermath of an air strike in the Nusat refugee camp in central
2:50
Gaza as houses and shelters caught fire. Al Jazzer’s Hani Mahmood said on Sunday
2:58
that quote fear and panic dominated the scene among people in Gaza during the
3:03
series of air strikes. He said quote we’ve been approached by people including women and children who are
3:09
asking us if the war is back on. Some said now that Israel has got the
3:14
captives back they’re back at killing us. That’s the kind of sentiment we’re hearing. People are very concerned in
3:21
Gaza City after they returned following the ceasefire. They are cornered in this
3:26
area. The sound of drones can be heard hovering above. The level of fear is on
3:31
the rise. Let’s not forget Palestinians have endured two years of war. They were
3:36
not even given the chance to breathe with constant attacks.
3:42
Israel targeted Palestinians in drone strikes while they were retrieving bodies in earlier attacks. Reporter
3:48
Muhammad Abu Salama captured video of people at Alshifa hospital in Gaza City
3:54
after Palestinians were targeted multiple times by an Israeli reconnaissance drone near Kamel Adwan
4:01
Hospital in northern Gaza. The Gaza government media office stated on October 19th that Israel had committed
4:08
80 violations of the ceasefire since it came into effect and that at least 97
4:14
Palestinians were killed and 230 injured in those nine days since.
4:20
Israel’s violations, the media office explained, include shooting, bombing, the use of fire belts, and the arrest of
4:27
Palestinians, reflecting, quote, its clear desire for escalation on the
4:32
ground. The media office noted that these attacks had been carried out by occupation forces, quote, using military
4:40
vehicles and tanks positioned on the outskirts of residential neighborhoods,
4:45
electronic cranes equipped with sensors and remote targeting devices, and combat
4:51
aircraft and quadcopter drones that continue to fly over residential areas
4:56
on a daily basis, carrying out shooting operations and direct targeting of
5:02
civilians. The Israeli military ended the October 19th bombing campaign after the US White
5:09
House appeared to have stepped in, Ryan Grim added, conveying to Israel that
5:14
they knew what happened with the Rafa explosion. Netanyahu said he would reopen two humanitarian aid crossings.
5:22
However, Israeli forces in the so-called yellow boundary line within Gaza have continued to shoot and kill
5:28
Palestinians. Mahmud Basal, the spokesperson for Gaza’s civil defense, said that four
5:35
Palestinians were killed on Monday in two separate attacks, both times by Israeli gunfire as they were returning
5:42
to their neighborhoods to check on their homes. Israeli forces claimed they opened fire
5:48
on Palestinians who allegedly crossed the yellow line and approached troops in Shuaya. Al Jazzer reported that Hamas
5:56
denied knowledge of any such attack with one Palestinian official accusing Israel of fabricating pretext to resume the
6:04
genocidal war on Gaza. On Wednesday, October 22nd, another Palestinian was
6:10
killed by the Israeli army in the Tufah neighborhood of Gaza City. The Sulala
6:16
Society, an animal rescue and rehabilitation organization in Gaza, announced that one of their
6:22
veterinarians, Dr. Wad Abu Rakba was killed last weekend while trying to go
6:27
back to his home and gather some belongings. His home was reportedly near the so-called yellow line boundary in
6:34
Jibalia in northern Gaza. John will have much more on the yellow line and its
6:39
implications later on in the program. More Palestinian bodies were returned to
6:45
Gaza by the Israeli military showing indications of torture and field executions.
6:51
Eurommed Human Rights Monitor said that its field team observed Israel’s handover of 120 bodies from the Gaza
6:59
Strip through the International Committee of the Red Cross last week, including many unidentified remains.
7:06
Dozens more bodies have been returned to Gaza in recent days, raising the number to 195.
7:14
Quote, “Medical examinations, forensic reports, and observations by the field team revealed conclusive evidence that
7:21
many victims were killed after being detained.” Eurommed stated their bodies
7:27
bore clear marks of hanging, rope imprints around their necks, injuries from close-range gunfire, bound hands
7:35
and feet with plastic restraints and blindfolds. Some bodies were crushed
7:40
under tank tracks while others showed severe signs of physical torture, fractures, burns, and deep wounds. Dr.
7:48
Munir Alber, the director general of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said that
7:53
quote, “The bodies we received were bound like animals, blindfolded, and bore horrific signs of torture and burns
8:01
that reveal the extent of the crimes committed in secret. They did not die naturally. They were executed after
8:08
being restrained. These people were not buried underground. They were kept in the occupation’s refrigerators for long
8:15
months. Mahmud Basal of Gaza’s civil defense filmed the mass funeral of 54
8:22
ident unidentified bodies in Deralah on Wednesday. Meanwhile, civil defense
8:27
teams have been recovering hundreds of bodies from beneath the rubble in Gaza, working around the clock in brutal
8:34
conditions while lacking the necessary heavy machinery and equipment to complete their missions. Mahmud Basal
8:41
said that an estimated 10,000 Palestinians remain buried underneath the rubble. and he condemned the
8:48
international community’s double standards as members of the International Committee of the Red Cross
8:54
began urgently recovering the bodies of Israeli captives while ignoring the enormous need for recovery of
9:01
Palestinian bodies. Basal said, quote, “We receive dozens of appeals daily from
9:07
families pleading for the recovery of their relatives bodies.” He added that he had provided all international
9:13
organizations with detailed lists of our emergency needs and technical requirements for recovery operations.
9:21
Quote, “Here in Gaza, humanity is divided by identity. Pain is measured by
9:27
political standards and the dead are left waiting for a justice that never
9:32
comes.” Basel said in violation of not just the October
9:37
10th ceasefire, but of course all applicable international laws, Israel’s
9:43
continued restrictions on the entry of heavy machinery, food, essential supplies, medicine, and humanitarian aid
9:50
are exacerbating the health catastrophe in Gaza. The Gaza government media
9:55
office stated on Tuesday that fewer than a thousand trucks or roughly 15% of all
10:01
expected aid trucks have been delivered to Gaza, including only 14 cooking gas
10:07
and 28 diesel trucks since the ceasefire took effect. The media office emphasized
10:14
that quote, “These limited quantities do not cover the minimum humanitarian and living needs. The Gaza Strip is in dire
10:21
need of an urgent and regular flow of no less than 600 aid trucks daily,
10:27
including food, medical, and relief supplies, as well as fuel and cooking gas to ensure the minimum requirements
10:34
for a decent life. Al Jazzer’s Hanim Mahmood said on Tuesday that he hadn’t
10:39
seen any trucks coming in through the Zakim crossing in the north of Gaza. He noted that there is no infrastructure,
10:46
quote, no warehouses, no roads for these trucks to drive on. Much of the city has
10:52
been reduced to rubble, and the streets are difficult to navigate. For over two
10:57
years now, we’ve been talking about aid, and nothing has changed. There’s been a trickle that’s been allowed in by Israel
11:04
only to try to evade global criticism. But when you look, the amount is nowhere
11:09
near sufficient to address the humanitarian crisis across the Gaza Strip.
11:14
Airifa of the World Food Program explained on October 21st that
11:19
international agencies are doing all they can to scale up the amount of food and supplies into Gaza, but are being
11:26
hindered by Israel’s ongoing closures of most of the crossings, as well as the
11:31
unprecedented logistical obstacles with Gaza’s infrastructure in collapse and
11:37
ruin. We’ve had over 6,700 tons of food. That’s enough for close to
11:45
half a million people for two weeks. Uh daily deliveries continue and they are
11:50
now averaging around 750 tons. That’s um that’s much better than what we had um
11:59
before the ceasefire, but it’s still well below uh our target, which is
12:05
around 2,000 tons every day. The severe amount of destruction makes it, you
12:10
know, almost impossible to get to this goal of 2,000 tons unless you are able
12:16
to utilize all crossing points. People are showing up in large numbers,
12:21
grateful for the efficiency of the delivery of food assistance as well as
12:27
the, you know, dignified way of people standing in line quickly getting um the
12:33
their food um rations. Um and especially um impacting the most vulnerable, the
12:40
women, uh female headed households, um the elderly people are hopeful. There is
12:46
cautious optimism, but they are the food that they are receiving uh receiving. They eat part of it and they ration and
12:53
keep uh some of the supplies for emergency because they are not very confident. Uh how long the ceasefire
13:01
will uh last and and what will happen next.
13:06
Airifa of the World Food Program. Looking at some of the political developments related to the genocide in
13:13
Gaza. This week, the Hind Rajab Foundation submitted a a 120page filing
13:19
to the International Criminal Court in the Hague. The filing names 24 Israeli
13:25
soldiers and commanders responsible for the killing of Hins Rajab, six members
13:30
of her family, and two Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics, Ysef Alzeno and
13:35
Ahmed al- Marhune, who were deliberately targeted while attempting to rescue her
13:40
on January 29th, 2024 in Gaza City. The submission provides detailed evidence
13:48
identifying the quote vampire Empire Company of the 52nd Armored Battalion
13:54
operating under Israel’s 401st Armored Brigade. The complaint names Colonel
14:00
Benny Aharon, commander of the 401st Armored Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel
14:06
Daniel Ella, commander of the 52nd Armored Battalion, and Major Shaun
14:11
Glass, commander of the Vampire Empire Company, along with 22 identified tank
14:17
crew members of the same company who directly participated in or facilitated
14:23
the attack. On the same day the ICC submission was filed, Al Jazer Arabic
14:28
aired a new documentary called Tip of the Iceberg in which the Hind Rajab Foundation publicly revealed the
14:35
identities of the commanders and of tank crew member Kuker Cop. The remaining 22
14:42
names have now been submitted confidentially to the ICC and will be made public progressively as national
14:49
level complaints are filed in different jurisdictions. The foundation states,
14:54
Diab Abu Jaja, the foundation’s director, said, quote, “This is not only a legal act. It’s a revolt against the
15:02
global order of impunity. They believed Hinn’s murder would be without accountability. We are proving them
15:08
wrong step by step.” 24 names are now before the ICC, and more will follow in
15:15
national courts. Justice is not a favor we ask. It is the inevitable reckoning
15:21
of truth. And on Wednesday, the International Court of Justice issued
15:26
its advisory opinion on the obligations of Israel in relation to the presence and activities of the United Nations,
15:33
other international organizations, and third states in and relation to the occupied Palestinian territory. A brief
15:40
document that concludes and reaffirms that Israel is an occupying power and is acting in violation of international
15:48
law. Former UN official and frequent guest on the electronic and defat’s liveream,
15:53
Craig Mokyber, stated on social media that quote, “The ICJ has just rejected
15:59
all objections and spurious defenses and found that the Israeli regime is in
16:04
violation of international law in its obstruction of aid, its attacks on Anoa
16:10
and other agencies, its mass murder of hundreds of UN staff, its violations of
16:16
the rights of aid workers, civilians, and prisoners, its destruction of UN and
16:21
other aid facilities, the use of starvation as a method of war, and that it must cease all such actions in Gaza,
16:30
the West Bank, and East Jerusalem. As usual, Israel regime agent Judge
16:35
Sabuende, who still has not recused or been removed, was alone in dissenting on
16:41
several key findings of the court. Turning to the occupied West Bank,
16:46
Israeli soldiers shot and killed a 9-year-old Palestinian boy while he was playing football in the Alraia village
16:53
near Al Khalil on October 16th. Defense for Children International
16:58
reports that Muhammad Bahad Muhammad Halak was playing along with several
17:03
other young boys in the center of the village. Two Israeli military jeeps
17:09
entered the village after which four Israeli soldiers exited the vehicles spread out along the street and began
17:16
firing tear gas canisters and live bullets randomly and directly at the children. As Muhammad and the other
17:23
children fled westward, one soldier took a kneeling position and fired a single
17:29
live bullet that struck Muhammad. He was shot in the right side of his pelvis,
17:34
after which the bullet exited from his left side. Muhammad was able to take a
17:39
few steps before falling to the ground when an additional tear gas canister was fired in his vicinity. A 17-year-old
17:47
child came to carry Muhammad away when the soldiers fired two additional live bullets at them both. The older boy
17:54
managed to pull Muhammad away and carried him to his uncle’s house nearby. Muhammad was then taken in a private
18:01
vehicle to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Defense for
18:06
Children International Palestine says that Israeli forces have killed 41 Palestinian children in the occupied
18:13
West Bank in 2025. On October 19th in Alain refugee camp in
18:19
Nablas in the north, a 42-year-old man, Majid Dawoud, was shot and killed by
18:24
Israeli soldiers who then dragged his body across the city and then beat his
18:29
wife before handing over his body. Journalist Abu DM cap captured the
18:35
Israeli soldiers assaulting Dawood’s wife and trying to rip her husband’s body away from her.

18:54

19:06
[Music] And in the village of Tormmoaya, Israeli
19:13
settlers ers attacked Palestinians who were harvesting their olive trees with one settler brutally beating a
19:19
middle-aged woman, Afu Aliyia, with a large stick. US journalist Jasper
19:25
Nathaniel caught the moment the settler beat Abu Aliyia and the moments afterwards when locals and activists
19:31
came to take her to get medical attention. Abu Aliyia spoke from the hospital on October 20th. She said that
19:38
she had seen two settlers beating her. Quote, “I thought that’s it. I’m going to die. There was no one left. Everyone
19:45
had gone. Abu Aliyah says that she and her family members had gone out to pick their olives. A car passed by and a
19:52
woman shouted at them to run because the settlers were coming. They ran and went to get their car and discovered that
19:58
their car had been smashed and the tires had been deflated. She says that the army and security forces came and
20:05
stopped them, but she and her family refused to leave. Then she says that one of the settlers hit her sister with a
20:11
rock while they rode in a truck. She got up to see what was happening and that’s when the settlers started beating her.
20:40
You got it. Oh, come on. Don’t [ __ ] hit her. Hey. Oh my god. Hey. Hey.
20:47
Hey.
21:27
forchech.
22:03
Holy [ __ ] Hey. Oh no.
22:12
That video clip is from Middle East Eye with footage from Jasper Nathaniel and we apologize for those sharp words in
22:19
there. Nathaniel was also chased by a lynch mob of settlers while trying to document the attacks. He said that the
22:26
Israeli army led him and Palestinian farmers directly into an ambush by settlers, then left the scene. On
22:34
Wednesday, the Israeli government advanced a bill to annex and impose Israeli sovereignty on the entire
22:40
occupied West Bank and another bill to impose Israeli sovereignty over the illegal settlement colony of Mallay
22:47
Adumin. The Hamas political party said in a statement that the bills reflected
22:52
quote the ugly face of the colonial occupation. We affirm that the occupation’s frantic attempts to annex
22:59
Westbank lands are invalid and illegitimate. Hamas said
23:04
we’ve published many features on the electronic inifat in the last week but we wanted to highlight nothing to return
23:10
to by Nadada Musha writing from Gaza. quote, “Everything passes in ways that
23:16
make no sense at all. My family and I ended up displaced to the south despite
23:22
our stubborn stubborn refusal to ever leave the north. And now we may suddenly
23:27
be able to return. Maybe, just maybe, it will last this time,” Nad explains. She
23:34
writes about preparing to head to the south as Israel’s bombings escalated nearby. I wished I could embrace our
23:41
home and carry it with us. Mara, my 5-year-old sister sitting beside me, asked innocently, “Can’t we just fold up
23:49
the house and take it with us to the south?” I replied softly, “Why not fold up the whole city instead? Wouldn’t that
23:56
be better?” Later, I went down to the street to watch how they packed our bedding onto the transport truck. Then,
24:03
I walked the patch of land in front of the house. My family was sitting there peeling and eating pomeloss picked from
24:11
the tree outside the house. their faces heavy with grief. A memory forced itself
24:16
into my mind. It was before the genocide when my life was calm. I would sit on my
24:22
bed, light a candle, and read my books and novels. I loved reading Gassan Kennethani most of all. I often marveled
24:30
at how his words seemed to mirror our our lives, how his stories felt like our
24:35
stories. I remembered one of his tales, the land of sad oranges, and how the
24:41
women wept when the last orange was taken from the orchard. The memory shook me, seeing my family
24:48
holding those citrus fruits now. Was it possible that citrus would be the last thing we carried with us from our land,
24:55
too? Our belongings left for the south before we did. There wasn’t enough room
25:00
for us on the small truck. We stayed behind in the house, hoping for another way out, but none came. Finally, after
25:08
much thought, we decided to go on foot. Our only fear was for the seven little
25:13
ones, aged between five and 10, too frail for such a journey. We began to
25:19
walk, my family, my relatives, 31 people in all. There were no streets left, no
25:25
standing houses, only rubble. So, we bade farewell to the ruins. ruins that
25:30
had once been homes filled with life, and we moved on. From the very beginning
25:36
of the road, exhaustion overtook us. I don’t know why. It was a road we had
25:41
walked countless times before. The heat was relentless. We weren’t alone. Many
25:47
families were carrying their belongings and mattresses while heavy shelling raged all around us. When we reached Al-
25:54
Rashid Street, which overlooks the sea, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I had only seen part of the area in May. Before the
26:01
war, Al-Rasheed Street was the very pulse of life. Bright, lively, full of cafes, restaurants, and wedding halls.
26:09
Now, all the towers lay in ruins. Everything seemed drowned in gray. I
26:15
looked back and saw Al Majdal, Ashcolong they call it now, glittering in the
26:21
distance. The contrast was merciless. My city was buried under rubble and
26:26
darkness, while over there, a city that was once ours, sparkled like stars. We
26:32
could see their light. Could they see our dark ruins? Our feet achd. Our backs
26:38
felt broken from exhaustion. We stopped often to rest on the ground and catch
26:43
our breath. We saw endless waves of displaced people. Like everyone else, I
26:49
had set out in clean clothes that quickly became stained with dirt and dust. Hours and minutes passed. We
26:57
reached Sheikh is where we once had a beautiful plot with a large fig tree.
27:02
The area now had no recognizable landmark. Still, when I walked by, I
27:08
felt a warmth in my chest. We passed through Natsarim, once famed for its
27:13
grapes and figs, now infamous for the many massacres Israel had perpetrated
27:18
here. We reached Guadi Gaza, which marks the boundary between northern and
27:23
southern Gaza as the night swallowed the sky. At that moment, we became
27:28
displaced. At the very threshold of the south, tents lined both sides of the road.
27:35
Nothing looked familiar. It was not the city I knew. We arrived at the house we
27:40
had rented from a family in Derabala where we would now seek shelter at around midnight. I collapsed into sleep
27:47
without even changing my clothes. The next morning the air felt strange. I
27:52
woke up confused, wondering why I wasn’t at home.

We remain in the south. Our house in Aluja was bombed in the last days before the ceasefire. There is no home to go
28:05
back to. Those are excerpts from nothing to return to by Nadra Mushta, a teacher and
28:12
writer in Gaza on electronic anddefat.net. And now, as we always do, we wanted to
28:18
highlight people expressing joy, determination, and resilience across Gaza and around the world. Members of
28:24
the Gaza Sunbirds, a parasycling team, brought long awaited meals of chicken and rice to their friends this past week
28:32
as finally some food staples were brought into Gaza. One of the young men
28:37
says while holding a beautiful plate of roasted chicken, “I swear I’ve forgotten how it tastes. Now I’m going to remember
28:44
what it tastes like.” They knock on the door to their friend’s house and celebrate together.

Acrome. It’s my

video.

And journalist Sam Ahmed filmed his young daughter Leanne entertaining herself and her dad by pre pretending
29:50
that the window in the cloth tent they are using as a shelter is a television screen. Sam says, quote, “My little girl
29:57
Leanne tries to create her own small world of joy inside the tent. With no electricity or television, she found in
30:04
the tent’s window her own screen. She stands before it, dancing and playing,
30:09
asking me to sit and watch what she calls the TV. In every movement, there’s
30:14
a simple yet painful message. The children of Gaza need life, play, and education, just like all the children of
30:21
the world.

And that’s it for the news roundup. As always, go to electronicanddeifat.net for much more, especially to read our
30:50
new features by our brave writers in Gaza.

Hey, hey, hey.
oooooo
Geure herriari, Euskal Herriari dagokionez, hona hemen gure apustu bakarra:
We Basques do need a real Basque independent State in the Western Pyrenees, just a democratic lay or secular state, with all the formal characteristics of any independent State: Central Bank, Treasury, proper currency1, out of the European Distopia and faraway from NATO, being a BRICS partner…
Euskal Herriaren independentzia eta Mikel Torka
