FULL TEXT OF HAMAS RESPONSE TO TRUMP
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate
Important Statement
Regarding Hamas’s Response to the Proposal of U.S. President Trump
Out of concern to stop the aggression and the genocide being inflicted upon our steadfast people in the Gaza Strip, and based on national responsibility and a commitment to the principles, rights, and supreme interests of our people, the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, conducted in-depth consultations within its leadership bodies, extensive consultations with Palestinian forces and factions, as well as discussions with brotherly mediators and friends, in order to reach a responsible position in dealing with the plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.
After thorough study, the movement has made its decision and has delivered the following response to the brotherly mediators:
(The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, appreciates the Arab, Islamic, and international efforts, as well as the efforts of U.S. President Donald Trump, aimed at halting the war on the Gaza Strip, achieving a prisoner exchange, allowing immediate entry of humanitarian aid, rejecting the occupation of the Strip, and opposing the displacement of our Palestinian people from it.
In this context, and in a manner that achieves an end to the war and the full withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, the movement announces its approval to release all prisoners of the occupation—both living and the bodies of the deceased—according to the exchange formula included in President Trump’s proposal, and with the provision of appropriate field conditions for carrying out the exchange process. In this regard, the movement affirms its readiness to immediately enter into negotiations, through the mediators, to discuss the details.
The movement also reiterates its approval to hand over the administration of the Gaza Strip to a Palestinian body composed of independents (technocrats), based on Palestinian national consensus and supported by Arab and Islamic backing.
As for the other issues included in President Trump’s proposal that relate to the future of the Gaza Strip and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, these are subject to a comprehensive national position and must be based on relevant international laws and resolutions. These matters shall be discussed within a unified Palestinian national framework, in which Hamas will participate and contribute with full responsibility.)

That’s the best-ever statement in history. Hamas‘ response to this deal is extraordinary beyond words.
Hamas writes English better than the entire English-speaking world that it even obliged Trump to share their statement although it has words: genocide and occupation prisoners
the Hamas response to the Trump deal is brilliant. They basically reiterated their already stated position, but worded it in a way to make it sound like agreement with the Trump plan, then got Trump to repost it and demand Israel stop bombing, and completely destroyed the Israeli propaganda op framing them as the primary obstacle to ending the genocide

NORMAN FINKELSTEIN – “The only right IsraeIis have is the right to pack their bags and leave Palestine“
Many of you will have read the news of Hamas’s response to the proposed ceasefire plan. It is an important development — one that opens the door to halting this terrible war and bringing some relief to the people of Gaza.
I am also encouraged by President Donald Trump’s response, especially his call for Israel to halt its bombardment so that real progress can be made towards peace.
What we need now is restraint: an end to the attacks, a genuine pause in the fighting, and the swift delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Durable peace will not come at once. It must be built patiently, step by step. Yet there can be no delay in ending the anguish of civilians. This tragedy — which has scarred the world’s conscience — must be brought to a close.
The Arab states, particularly Qatar, together with Turkey and the wider Islamic world, have a central role in sustaining the ceasefire process and keeping alive the prospect of a political settlement. The United States also has a vital part to play, especially in applying the pressure needed on Israel to honour its obligations and give diplomacy the space it demands.
Later this month, I will welcome President Trump to Kuala Lumpur for the East Asia and ASEAN–US Summits. I look forward to a candid and constructive exchange on how we, together with our partners, can help shape the path towards a just and lasting peace — one that secures the rights of the Palestinian people and the realisation of a viable and sovereign Palestinian state.

Franck Magennis, Barrister: A Call for Military Intervention to Stop the Gaza Genocide.
Political self-definition: Franck Magennis opens: “I am a communist, an anti-Zionist, and I also practice as a lawyer out of London” aligned in the anti-imperialist tradition.
Exhaustion and collective affect: He acknowledges collective fatigue among anti-imperialists, insisting that “hope is something we cultivate collectively,” transforming personal despair into organised perseverance.
Military intervention against Israel: Magennis presses us to confront what military intervention entails here, arguing strategy must reckon with force’s material reality. He asks bluntly: “What does it mean to think about a military success that crushes Zionism once and for all?” He notes existing interventions on both sides, pro-Zionist (US/NATO) and anti-Zionist (e.g. Ansarallah, Hezbollah, Iran).
Zionism as fascist and racist: Zionism is “a fascist and racist ideology,” a violent settler-colonial project bound to Western imperialism. It “must be defeated on the battlefield,” not merely debated; anti-Zionism is an obligation for anti-imperialists.
Historical precedent for Military Intervention: Angola and internationalism: He cites Cuba’s 1975–76 intervention in Angola: “Tens of thousands of troops were sent to assist their brothers and sisters in Angola,” framing it as genuine internationalist solidarity versus NATO’s imperial interventions. He urges sober lessons from both victories and defeats, including the International Brigades’ loss in Spain.
Zionism as modern fascism: Drawing parallels to the 1930s, the fascist right, Mussolini’s Italy and Nazi Germany, he argues Israel functions as the spearhead of twenty-first-century fascist violence and calls for normalising political and cultural anti-Zionism.
Condemnation of U.S. and NATO aggression: He brands the United States and NATO as principal organisers of imperial war; the Zionist genocide, he contends, relies on NATO coordination and U.S. arms institutions that act as combatants on the side of fascism.
Analysis of the NATO–Russia war: He reframes the Ukraine conflict as a NATO–Russia war, rejecting defence-oriented narratives and asserting the conflict aims to contain and weaken any power challenging U.S. hegemony.
China, Taiwan, and U.S. hegemony: The China–Taiwan standoff is ultimately about U.S. hegemony, with Taiwan treated as a forward base in an American strategy to encircle and provoke China, part of a wider defence of declining Western monopoly power.
Critique of liberal military humanitarianism: Magennis dismantles the humanitarian pretext of Western policy for military force, invoking the Rwanda genocide and the West’s prior refusals to act “before hundreds of thousands had been killed,” and likening that hypocrisy to complicity in Gaza.
Eviscerating the Labour Party: He calls for a political rupture: “We need to articulate the demand to destroy the UK Labour Party, describing it as the “enemy of the international working class”. We need to eviscerate that institution in the next general election, targeting senior ministers as emblematic allies of NATO and Zionism.
Conclusion: revolutionary hope and collective struggle: Hope is a revolutionary practice and “something we cultivate collectively.” He demands disciplined organisation, political education, and international solidarity as the only means to dismantle the intertwined systems of Zionism, imperialism, and capitalist hegemony. He concludes by saying that “Zionism must be defeated on the battlefield”.

Palestine: Any peace plan must respect international law, beginning with self-determination and accountability, urge UN experts

Palestine: Any peace plan must respect international law, beginning with self-determination and accountability, urge UN experts
GENEVA (3 October 2025) – UN experts* today expressed hope for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza but warned that any peace plan must absolutely safeguard the human rights of Palestinians, and not create further conditions of oppression.
“We welcome parts of the peace plan announced by the United States to end the war in Gaza, including a permanent ceasefire, rapid release of unlawfully detained persons, an influx of humanitarian aid under United Nations supervision, no forced displacement from Gaza, the withdrawal of Israeli forces and the non-annexation of territory,” the experts said. “These are broadly requirements of international law that should not depend on a formal peace plan.”
The experts warned that key elements of the plan are nevertheless deeply inconsistent with fundamental rules of international law and the 2024 Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice that demand that Israel ends its unlawful presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
“Imposing an immediate peace at any price, regardless of or brazenly against law and justice, is a recipe for further injustice, future violence and instability,” they said.
The experts highlighted major concerns about the following aspects:
- The Palestinian right of self-determination, including through independent statehood, is not guaranteed as international law requires, and is subject to vague pre-conditions concerning Gaza’s redevelopment, Palestinian Authority reform, and a “dialogue” between Israel and Palestine. Palestine’s future would thus be at the mercy of decisions by outsiders, not in the hands of Palestinians as international law commands. The plan also preserves the failed status quo of requiring more negotiations with Israel, when the Israeli Prime Minister has already declared that Israel would “forcibly resist” statehood. This is blatantly against the International Court of Justice (ICJ) finding that fulfilling the right of self-determination cannot be made conditional upon negotiations.
- The “temporary transitional government” is not representative of Palestinians and even excludes the Palestinian Authority, further violating self-determination and lacking legitimacy. There are no concrete benchmarks or timeframes for a transition to representative governance, which belongs to the Palestinians only, without foreign interference.
- Oversight by a “Board of Peace” chaired by the US President is not under United Nations authority or transparent multilateral control, while the US is a deeply partisan supporter of Israel and not an “honest broker.” This proposal is regrettably reminiscent of colonial practices and must be rejected.
- An “International Stabilisation Force”, outside the control of the Palestinian people and the United Nations as a guarantor, would replace Israeli occupation with a US-led occupation, contrary to Palestinian self-determination.
- Partial Israeli occupation could continue indefinitely through a “security perimeter” inside Gaza’s borders, which, is absolutely unacceptable.
- The demilitarisation of Gaza has no end date and, if permanent, could leave it vulnerable to Israeli aggression. Nothing is said regarding the demilitarisation of Israel, which has committed international crimes against the Palestinians and threatened peace and security in the region through aggression against other countries.
- Deradicalisation is imposed on Gaza only, while anti-Palestinian and anti-Arab sentiments, radicalisation and public incitement to genocide have been hallmarks of dominant rhetoric in Israel over the past two years.
- The plan largely treats Gaza in isolation from the West Bank including East Jerusalem, when these areas must be regarded as a unified Palestinian territory and State.
- An “economic development plan” and “special economic zone” could result in illegal foreign exploitation of resources without Palestinian consent.
- There is no duty on Israel and those who have sustained its illegal attacks in Gaza to compensate Palestinians for illegal war damage.
- The plan provides for the release of all Israeli hostages but only some of the many arbitrarily detained Palestinians.
- Amnesties offered to Hamas seem to be unconditional, even if they committed international crimes, denying justice for victims of international crimes.
- The plan does not address accountability at all for Israeli international crimes and human rights violations against the Palestinian people. There is no commitment to transitional justice, historical truth-telling or genuine reconciliation. There is also no guaranteed access for independent journalists. Accountability and justice are integral to sustainable peace.
- The plan does not address other fundamental issues such as ending illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank including East Jerusalem, borders, compensation, and refugees.
- The plan does not provide a leading role for the United Nations, General Assembly or Security Council, or specifically for the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), which is vital to assisting and protecting Palestinians.
“Any peace plan must respect the ground rules of international law,” the experts said. “The future of Palestine must be in the hands of the Palestinian people – not imposed by outsiders under extreme conditions of duress in yet another scheme to control their destiny.”
The experts recalled that the International Court of Justice had been crystal clear. “Conditions cannot be placed on the Palestinian right of self-determination,” they said. “The Israeli occupation must end immediately, totally and unconditionally, with due reparation made to the Palestinians.”
“The United Nations – not Israel or its closest ally – has been identified by the ICJ as the legitimate authority to oversee the end of the occupation and the transition towards a political solution in which their right of self-determination is fully realised,” the experts said.

The gentle, soft, who was walking on the ground as if she were a breeze… Sara , whose dream was simple, but big, she provides guidance and succeeds, makes mom and dad happy, and sees her name from the first sector.
Two years of fatigue, staying up late, studying, and anxiety…
Between all these pressures, Sara was resisting her dream, even when she was displaced, even when she was between the bombing, she did not give up her books, she was holding them as if she were the only remaining hope.
But the occupation kidnapped her before her dream came true..
She was martyred before she was happy with the joy of her age, before she wears the graduation suit, and before we celebrate it…
The voice that was laughing at us is gone, the hope that his eyes were talking about.
But, Sara , I swear I won’t get tired, We will complete the road for you, and we will write your name with pride, And every success for us… is yours.

If her face was missing, joy was missing too,and when she was there, everything came alive with laughter.
She always knew how to change our mood in a moment, with a word, with her loud voice as she laughed from her heart.
Saja was the true soul of the house, we didn’t feel peace or life except when she was with us.
She would suddenly sing, joke with everyone, and enter the room lighting it up with her spirit and laughter. Even in the hardest days, she gave us hope… she was tenderness, humor, and color.
Saja’s voice is gone, but her memory didn’t leave…
Her laughter still lives in my mind, and I still draw her picture in my heart.
May Allah have mercy on you, Saja.
