After Israel unilaterally reneged on the mutually agreed ceasefire deal and launched scores of air strikes across Gaza killing more than 400 Palestinians overnight, Shea said, “the blame for resumption of hostilities lies solely with Hamas.”

Amidst reports that President Trump green-lit the Israeli massacres that killed 174 children and 89 women in just a matter of hours, Ambassador Shea said, “we must recognize Hamas’ savagery for what it is.”

We need to fucking lobby and lobby HARD, in every state in the world, to DEMAND that a protective force is urgently established.

Israel is about to launch a ground invasion into Rafah. I make this call to leaders of all states to urgently take military action against Israel to protect civilians and prevent genocide.

This is a legal obligation because

The “Responsibility to Protect (R2P) principle requires states to take collective action in a timely and decisive action to prevent genocide. This was invoked in 2011 for military intervention in Libya

A UN Security Council resolution is not a prerequisite, based on the doctrine of humanitarian intervention. This was invoked by NATO in 1999 for military action in Kosovo

The Genocide Convention obligates states to prevent genocide in other states when they become aware of the risk. The ICJ has already rules that this is the case.

States have a moral obligation because

Brutal atrocities will be committed against a population that has already endured 7 months of genocide

35,000 have already been killed, included 15,000 children

Hospitals, schools, places of worship have been destroyed

Mass graves have been found with babies and infants inside

Political leaders must stop being weak & ineffectual, and take this opportunity to take military action, and be forever remembered for protecting Gaza and saving humanity.
