It is only after the deficit begins to expand again that the economy recovers. The historical correlation is 100%….
Contrary to general perception, fiat money is driven by the fact that taxpayers need the government’s money to pay their taxes. … so it can obtain the real goods and services it desires via the spending of its currency.
…. Treasury spending is a reserve add. Selling securities, by the Fed or Treasury, is simply a reserve drain, a monetary operation. This underlies the empirical evidence that nations can run any debt ratios they want, in their own fiat currencies, and still “fund the debt.”
How large a deficit is prudent? …., the government could offer a job to anyone who wanted one, at some minimum rate of pay deemed appropriate, and let the deficit float. This would end unemployment and unemployment compensation, eliminate the need for minimum wage laws, and promote price stability,…
The Federal debt is all the money spent but not taxed. …
The current budget debate is based on erroneous assumptions. Washington does not understand fiat money. Until it does, efforts to reduce the deficit will continue, and the economy will continue to underperform.

The UK plans to send the R08 Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier to the Eastern Mediterranean. It is expected that the exercises off the coast of Norway with his participation will be completed in the near future.

Let’s rebuild Ukraine:
Now that the US Govt has openly betrayed you and kicked you into the dust you should feel no shame in seeking solutions that are best for Ukraine and that don’t involve unreliable partners that have abused you as a hammering ram against Russia.
The US orchestrated a coup d’etat in your country to install a puppet regime with the help of Nazi groups. The snipers that killed 100 Ukrainians during the Maidan protests were hired by them to turn the peaceful protests violent. Everything that followed was to prepare Ukraine for war with Russia. You have been abused as a geo-strategic toy by the US Govt to contain Russia and China and their multipolar plans.
The best outcome at this time is a partnership with the multipolar world to facilitate a peace agreement with Russia. If Ukraine would become a key partner in the Belt and Road Initiative I’m certain that China would help to rebuild Ukraine and ask the other BRICS countries to assist.
If Ukraine is willing to abandon the US and its vassals it can become an example of recovery and economic growth in the multipolar world. China and other BRICS countries would invest heavily to rebuild Ukraine just to make a point to the rest of the world that the days of Western bullying and exploitation are numbered.
Normalizing relations with Russia will take time. But let’s stop the war and then focus on making Ukraine a hub for the East to do business with whatever remains of the EU.

In a landslide vote of 80% in favor, China has retained its seat on the UN Human Rights Council.
China also recieved more votes than France, demonstrating the world is no longer believing the lies about China coming from the west.
