1. That the US war machine has been surrounding its top two rivals China and Russia with war machinery as an act of defense, rather than an extremely provocative act of aggression.
2. That the war in Ukraine simultaneously (A) was completely unprovoked, and (B) just coincidentally happens to massively advance US strategic interests and therefore should be funded as much as possible.
3. That, okay, all those other wars were based on lies and resulted in disaster, but that couldn’t possibly be the case for this current war.
4. That your country’s foreign policy is determined by your official elected government, even though the foreign policy remains the same regardless of who is in office.
5. That it is only by pure coincidence that your nation’s population remains in a perpetual 50–50 deadlock which prevents anyone’s votes from changing the status quo, and the status quo just happens to be perpetually frozen along lines that hugely advantage the rich and powerful.
6. That the only reason anyone could possibly be critical of the most dangerous impulses of the world’s most powerful and destructive government is if they are a secret agent working for the enemies of that government.
7. That the western empire which spent the last two decades murdering Muslims in the Middle East suddenly cares very deeply about the Muslims in China.
8. That Putin invaded Ukraine solely because he is evil and hates freedom, and that the empire is pouring weapons into Ukraine because it loves Ukrainians and wants to protect their freedom and democracy.
9. That foreign propaganda and influence operations are significantly manipulating the way westerners think and vote, but the plutocrats who fully control all the most influential platforms in the western world are not.
10. That we need to be worrying about tyrannical enemies in Beijing and Moscow, instead of tyrannical enemies a lot closer to home.

Israel’s military says it needs a few hours to regain control of settlements near the border with Gaza which were attacked by Hamas members.
But the reports on the ground are saying otherwise.
According to Haaretz, the Israeli army has not gained control of ANY of the locations in southern Israel.
The Israeli publication said residents reported being still in shelters, without Israeli security forces or medical staff on site.
This conflict is quite intense and it seems much more complicated than a few hours to be resolved.

The Palestinians are reported to have captured the city of Sderot. It is not so far Gaza – three kilometers from the Erez checkpoint captured by Hamas militants. It was near here that Palestinians captured several Israeli soldiers and seized an IDF army transport.
As for Ashkelon, which was hit by a rocket strike at eight o’clock in the morning, it is located a little further – seven kilometers from Gaza. According to eyewitnesses, armed Palestinians organize patrols in the central squares of cities – they take civilians and military personnel prisoner.

NUCLEAR EXTINCTION: PUTIN HAS THREATENED ANNIHILATION IF A NUCLEAR STRIKE IS DETECTED
Putin’s recent statements on nuclear capabilities should be alarming to EVERYONE.
He threatened ‘enemies’ with total nuclear annihilation, leaving ‘no chance of survival’
Putin emphasized that once Nuclear missile launches are detected, a massive retaliatory strike of HUNDREDS of Russian Nuclear missiles will be unleashed from various directions, ensuring that ‘no single enemy survives.’
In other words, any Nuclear strike from any NATO member could mean a simultaneous and total nuclear strike against all NATO nuclear powers, including the U.S.
It’s important to note that NATO has never threatened a first strike on Moscow.
Recent reports suggested suspicions of a new test in the Arctic involving the Burevestnik, a super powerful missile with an onboard nuclear reactor.
Putin also bragged about the successful testing of the ‘Sarmat’ or ‘Satan-2,’ an unstoppable ICBM that travels at 15,880 mph and is the size of a 14-storey tower block.
He vowed to move towards mass production and combat duty deployment soon.
When asked about resuming nuclear weapons testing, Putin remained non-committal, suggesting Russia could potentially revoke ratification of the international nuclear test ban treaty.
MY THOUGHTS:
The Ukraine war is complex. Russia is at fault, and denying this is ridiculous.
This does NOT mean NATO is also not at fault, and it does not mean one cannot criticize the West for not doing enough to END the war.
Voters, the media, and lawmakers, need to take steps in DE-ESCALATING this war rather than criticizing those who do so.
I don’t want to sound alarming, but if this war gets out of control, the world is at risk of more destruction than both World Wars combined.
Although slim, this is the closest we’ve been to such a position since the Cold War.
Russia is known to bluff, and people like to compare this to the ‘Boy That Cried Wolf’. What those people forget is that eventually, the boy cried wolf and the wolf was actually there, killing the boy.
This is a risk the world CANNOT AFFORD.
