MMT is already a Marxist perspective on Sovereign State Money. Marxist and of course Keynesian. The Early MMTers like Minsky, Hudson & Mitchell are all Marxists. The historical framework of debt & currency used by MMT is the work of Prof Hudson is literally Leon Trotsky’s god son
