A drone manufacturer supplying border surveillance tech to Israel has been pushed out of New York City’s Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Easy Aerial, a NYC-based firm, supplied drones used to monitor the Gaza border and worked with Israeli defense operations.
The Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corp., whose board answers to the mayor, declined to renew the company’s lease six weeks into Mamdani’s administration. 
Pro-Palestine protest groups had long targeted the facility, demanding the eviction of firms tied to Israeli military supply chains.
Easy Aerial also held contracts tied to the U.S. Air Force, federal agencies, Super Bowl security, and surveillance operations along the U.S.–Mexico border.
City Hall claims the eviction was due to “business and compliance” issues, but the timing, political pressure, and defense ties point to a broader realignment over how public assets intersect with global military and surveillance networks.
