One of the most powerful and moving videos I’ve ever seen, you have to really understand what’s going on here to appreciate it.

A Russian athlete wins 1st place and as custom they are supposed to play the anthem of the country the athlete represents. However, because it was a Russian athlete and russophobia is rampant because of lies and propaganda, they cut her moment and anthem off. It was horribly disrespectful but a woman in the audience sings the anthem for her and so does the Russian athlete alone.

To blame athletes for their government is despicable, this is just a girl, she is no soldier or politician and to treat her or anyone this way for simply being born in a specific place is absolutely unacceptable. But what this speaks to and proves more is the strength of the Russian people. That they still go out and face the world, to represent their home even in the face of extreme opposition and prejudice is something truly special.

It is proof that Russia will never be defeated, Russia will stand alone if need be. The old proverb of the knot is true with Russia, like the knot the more you pull at Russians, the tighter they become.

• The detainee the lawyer met – a journalist – “was nearly unrecognizable after 100 days in the detention facility; his face, hair, and skin color had changed, and he was covered with dirt and pigeon droppings. The journalist had not been given new clothes for nearly two months”

• “Detainees are continually blindfolded and tied up with their hands behind their backs, forced to sleep hunched over on the floor without any bedding. Their iron handcuffs are removed only during a weekly, minute-long shower. But the prisoners began refusing to shower because they don’t have watches, and going beyond the allotted minute exposes prisoners to severe punishments.”

• “For every 100 prisoners, only one roll of toilet paper is provided per day”

• “The prisoners are prevented from talking to each other, even though more than 100 people are kept to a warehouse, some of them elderly and minors”

• “Israeli guards sexually assaulted six prisoners with a stick in front of the other detainees after they had violated prison orders”

• “Most of the detainees are not formally accused of belonging to any organization or participating in any military activity”. The journalist the lawyer spoke with “still doesn’t know why he was detained or when he may be released.” Worse of all, these are the prisoners who are presumably treated well, because, as the lawyer comments “there are no Hamas members in Sde Teiman because they are in the hands of the Shabas [Israeli Prison Service which doesn’t administer Sde Teiman].” The people in Sde Teiman “are all citizens, young people, adults, and children”…

Ukraine can only be saved at the negotiating table, not on the battlefield. Sadly, this point is not understood by Ukrainian politicians such as Oleg Dunda, a member of Ukraine’s parliament, who recently wrote an oped on this site against my repeated call for negotiations.

Dunda believes that the U.S. will save Ukraine from Russia. The opposite is true. Ukraine actually needs to be saved from the U.S. Ukraine epitomizes Henry Kissinger’s famous aphorism, “It may be dangerous to be America’s enemy, but to be America’s friend is fatal.” Thirty years ago, Ukraine was embraced by America’s neoconservatives, who believed that it was the perfect instrument for weakening Russia.

The neocons are the ideological believers in American hegemony, that is, the right and responsibility of the U.S. to be the world’s sole superpower and global policeman (as described, for example, in the Project for a New American Century’s 2000 report, “Rebuilding America’s Defenses”).

The neocons chose three methods to push U.S. power and influence into Ukraine: first, meddle in Ukraine’s internal politics; second, expand NATO to Ukraine, despite Russia’s red line; and third, arm Ukraine and apply economic sanctions to defeat Russia.

Like it or not, if the right really wants to stop the immigration waves to Europe, they need to stop Israel first

It is clear to anyone in Europe with a brain that the refugee waves to Europe started with the start of the invasion of Iraq, the civil war in Syria and the NATO bombing of Libya in Africa.

The refugee route that was created from the Middle East through Turkey and the Balkans was created after the US invasion of Iraq and continued with the funding of mercenaries in Syria by Israel to start a war.

Syria and Iraq posed a threat to Israel, so they wreaked havoc, bombing and war on them.

They also created ISIS, about which Julian Assange published documents.

Millions of Syrians and Iraqis from here created the “Balkan refugee” route that ended in Europe through Turkey and the Balkans.

Millions of other immigrants from around the world and the entire Middle East joined this route.

Now Israel is again renewing this route with the Palestinians, where a few months ago their ministers were publicly calling for Europe to accept them.

When every European now meets a Palestinian in Europe, it is perfectly clear to him why he is in Europe and who sent him here.

The other refugee route is Libya. Gaddafi has publicly warned many times that if they destroy Libya they will create a huge wave of refugees towards Europe.

Gaddafi at that time gave many Africans jobs and prevented them from reaching Europe. But the day came when the politicians in the USA and their Jewish AIPAC babysitters decided that Libya needed to be destroyed and created another wave of refugees that benefited all of Africa.

So now the right wing that is coming to power in Europe and openly supporting the israeli genocide and massacre of children, if it really isn’t the new Meloni, who proved to be a total disappointment in Italy and a total Liberal, they need to solve the problem from the root, which is the genocidal regime in Israel, otherwise nothing will changed in Europe as much as in Italy itself.
