The Chinese armed forces are ready to work with the Russian army to fully implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries,” he said.

PLA soldiers are willing to ‘defend international justice and impartiality’ together with their Russian counterparts and make every effort to safeguard international and regional security, Wu Qian added.

Absolutely extraordinary speech by @JLMelenchon, the leader of the French left, on how the US “want war” with China.

Here is it in full:

“The center of the world, at this hour when the most terrible of wars is being prepared, is not on European soil. It is over there between the coasts of the Americas and the coasts of Asia. This was reiterated yesterday at an international conference held in Singapore, where the Americans repeated that, whatever happens in Europe or the Middle East, their priority is in the Asia-Pacific zone, which they call the Indo-Pacific so that the enemy is better identified. For them, it is China. They want war because 50% of the world’s wealth is produced there.

More than 50% of the world’s population is there. The United States of America is in competition with China, but not ideologically. Who initiated the first agreements with China to outsource factories if not the United States of America themselves? They cannot tell us that it is a fight for freedom against I don’t know what. All of this is nonsense. It’s just because China is becoming the world’s leading power, and from there, gradually, dollars will no longer be used as much as before to trade goods.

Thus, the empire is hit at its core. Its core is its currency, which it can print as much as it wants because it is not bound by any of the rules that apply to all other nations. They can print as much as they want, as long as you need it for your exchanges, to buy raw materials, to buy oil, to buy minerals, etc., etc. And the day it stops, that is, the day nations agree among themselves to pay in their currency, it’s over, and the empire collapses.

Therefore, they engage in competition that is not free and completely distorted, supported by weapons. That is their policy. And meanwhile, the foolish Europeans are there saying, “Ah, of course, we agree with freedom. Ah, of course, that is an excellent program.” When this program by the North Americans, in truth, also involves robbing Europe, as has already begun.

That is where the greatest threat of war lies because it would be a total war, as weapons there do not have the same range, the same significance as elsewhere. As in Europe, notably atomic weapons. Remember what I am telling you because you will pay a little more attention to it as you hear more about it. And we, the French, are concerned because we are present in this zone through Polynesia, through the territory of New Caledonia Kanaki, through our presence in Reunion in the Indian Ocean.

Therefore, the French have something to say, and in particular this: we do not want a war with China. And we will oppose by all diplomatic means to prevent it from happening.”

La prochaine guerre se tiendra dans la zone Asie-Pacifique.

More people are waking up to this. It’s not just individuals like me as I expressed in my post from yesterday. A mass awakening to this truth is taking place. Israel is the Deep State who controls the world through the Rothchild banking institutions based in London, the Military Industrial Complex based in Washington DC and using institutions like NATO, hence why they want endless wars affecting all nations.

They control entertainment and mainstream media as their main tools for propaganda. They destroy Western culture through social programs, education, or rather lack thereof, pornography, decadence, the economy, child sex trafficking, organ trafficking, drug smuggling and through the pharmaceutical industry. They are in control of child labor, slavery, and instability in Africa to fund their agendas of world control. Government coups and government takeovers via bribes, payoffs, and blackmail is well documented by the Mossad influenced CIA and MI6, that include world changing assassinations and false flag events.

Speaker Mike Johnson officially invited Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress and then Americans will see who their true President is. Congress will grovel at Bibi’s feet and give him a standing ovation.

Constantly Christianity and Islam are mocked and belittled, but one religion is not dared to speak out against otherwise one will be tarnished as anti-Semitic or a Nazi. The Talmud speaks ill of non Jews as if we are just animals to them, where Jesus Christ is also blasphemed. They fear Western resistance, that’s why they want to destroy it. They change Western culture, and turn it into some unrecognizable woke melting pot. They do this because they fear Americans and Europeans might wake up. Is it too late?

We only need to look at history and how they were successful in destroying a mighty nation. Through the Bolshevik revolution they took over Russia, and it took Russia a century to recover from that and regain their culture and once again embrace their Orthodox Christianity. Russia lost 27 million people to the Nazis, yet they don’t hold it over the world’s head as a certain group of people do.

We want to live in peace with all Jews, and Zionism is hurting them more than any other group. Is it anti-Christian to speak of the evils the church committed during the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, etc. No, of course not. It’s the truth that needs to be known. We learn from history regardless of how uncomfortable it is, and we make it right.

Remember, they want to destroy us and anyone who resists them, because of fear. Most Jews who call themselves Jews aren’t even ethnic Jews at all. So how can there be antisemitism against a group that hijacked a title?

Max Blumenthal the great Jewish journalist even acknowledged that it is the Palestinians who are the direct descendants of Jesus’s disciples and apostles. So I ask modern day Christians, where are your priorities and loyalties.

Ex-Pentagon employee revealed the main fear of NATO leaders in Ukraine

The North Atlantic Alliance is frightened by the possible defeat of Ukraine, former Assistant Deputy Secretary of Defense Stephen Bryan said in an article for Weapons and Strategy.

While they are wondering what the Russians will do next, they have practically no options for saving Ukraine,” the material says.

According to him, Ukraine is on the verge of collapse, is experiencing a shortage of military personnel and continues to suffer heavy losses.

In addition, Brian pointed out that the ongoing forced conscription program is not capable of replacing trained personnel, and the introduction of NATO soldiers, even in small numbers, means only one thing – Europe will soon be filled with body bags.

Houthis’ Red Sea blockade makes Russia’s Northern Sea Route attractive to desperate West

With the US and Britain proving unable to dislodge the Houthis from their strongholds or stop the militia from attacking Israeli-linked, American and British vessels in the Red and Arabian Seas, commercial shippers have increasingly eyed Russia’s Northern Sea Route as an attractive potential alternative, a leading mainstream US news magazine has reported.

The surging costs and fear of getting hit by Houthi drones and missiles have led some shippers to consider the Arctic as an alternative, as melting ice begins opening new potential on the so-called Northern Sea Route,” Foreign Policy wrote.

The article ‘discovered’ what Russian officials and media have been saying for years – that the 5,600 km Northern Sea Route is the shortest maritime route between Europe and Asia, and can shave 8,000 km or more of distance, and 40-60 percent in time, off shipments, compared to traditional Europe-Asia routes through the presently troubled waters in the Middle East.

The ability to slash some 5,000 miles off a ship’s journey would mean much faster travel times – a major plus in today’s world of online retail and next-day delivery,” FP said.

Unfortunately for the West, there’s a catch: 70 percent of the Arctic, including virtually the entire length of the Arctic portion of the route, passes through Russian waters. “Ships wanting to use the route must secure the Russians’ permission and pay them transit fees. Given current relations between many Western countries and Russia amid the Ukraine war, that poses an obvious challenge,” the magazine lamented. – geopolitics_live reports

Gideon Levy: Israel has achieved nothing with war on Gaza | The Bottom Line

Bideoa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLdWRawqiHQ

Given a choice between war and getting all its hostages back, Israel has opted for more war, argues Israeli journalist Gideon Levy.

Levy tells host Steve Clemons that Israeli politicians may abandon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but even if he was replaced, Israel would continue its war on Gaza and occupation of the Palestinian people as a whole. “Radical change” in Israeli attitude and U.S. support is needed for any improvement in the situation, says Levy.

After Oct. 7, even those on the Israeli left believe that Israel has the right to do whatever it wants, the Haaretz columnist argues.

Transkripzioa:

0:00

hi I’m Steve Clemens and I have a

0:02

question with a totally fractured

0:03

leadership and with International

0:05

pressure mounting over its war on Gaza

0:08

where is Israel heading let’s get to the

0:10

bottom

0:11

[Music]

0:16

line it’s been nine months of Relentless

0:19

bombs of tanks and sniper bullets of

0:21

death and destruction by Israel and Gaza

0:23

but it feels like the war is just

0:25

starting all over again negotiations for

0:27

a ceasefire take place here and there

0:29

but any New Deal seems like an illusion

0:32

now that Israel alone controls all entry

0:34

points into the Gaza Strip food and

0:36

other supplies are barely getting in the

0:38

Israeli Army finds itself fighting on

0:40

several fronts in Gaza on the border

0:42

with Lebanon and all throughout the West

0:44

Bank with no light at the end of this

0:46

very dark tunnel yet inside the Israeli

0:49

government some politicians are

0:51

objecting some are calling for new

0:53

elections and threatening to abandon

0:55

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin

0:56

Netanyahu saying that his talk of total

0:59

victory in Gaza is aoy to just keep him

1:02

in office and a catchy slogan that in

1:04

the long run could be catastrophic for

1:06

both Israel and Palestine so what’s

1:09

going on and what’s the endgame for

1:11

Israel today we’re talking with gon Levy

1:14

a veteran journalist with the Israeli

1:15

newspaper haret and he’s also author of

1:18

the punishment of Gaza great to be with

1:21

you today and and thanks for joining us

1:24

let me ask you about Israel and and

1:27

Israel’s stand I’m really interested in

1:29

this question

1:30

on what it means from your perspective

1:33

to be pro-israel in today’s

1:37

Israel I’ll give you Steve my my opinion

1:41

which is not a very common one being a

1:45

real genuine friend of Israel means to

1:49

push Israel to put an end to this war

1:52

being a genuine friend of Israel who

1:55

cares about its future means put

1:58

pressure on Israel to put end to the

2:00

apartheid and to the occupation nothing

2:03

but this what the Americans are doing

2:06

and others is you know like a drug

2:09

addict Supply the drug addict with more

2:11

money he will be very happy about it he

2:14

will buy more drugs but that’s not

2:16

friendship and that’s not care how has

2:20

Israel’s response sort of Blended

2:23

everyone on the Palestinian side into

2:25

being a

2:27

villain it was really a very decisive

2:31

moment the moment that changed the whole

2:35

Israeli Society in many ways because the

2:38

last remains of the Israeli Peace Camp

2:41

were crashed on this day uh the Israelis

2:45

almost all of them including the pnic

2:49

and the leftist came to the conclusion

2:52

that after those atrocities of the 7th

2:54

of October there’s a new game in town

2:57

now Israel has the right to do whatever

2:59

ever it wants Gaza must be punished in

3:03

any possible way there is no place for

3:07

any empy to the people of Gaza to the

3:10

victims of Gaza to the children of Gaza

3:13

nothing and unfortunately this is still

3:17

valid on this moment when we are almost

3:19

eight months after the war started you

3:23

said that Israel’s essential behavior

3:25

and to some degree you implied its

3:27

impunity came from this belief that the

3:30

Bible that this righteousness that

3:33

American guarantor and this nuclear

3:35

research lab down the road essentially

3:38

gave it this unparalleled unconstrained

3:41

ability to behave any way it wants do

3:44

you see any part of that equation if I

3:47

framed it correctly Coming

3:50

Undone first of all that’s exactly what

3:53

I meant I meant that Israel is trusting

3:56

the Bible

3:58

deona and

4:00

and the Holocaust we we don’t have to

4:03

forget this being the victims of the

4:06

Holocaust makes Israelis believe that

4:09

they have the right to do whatever they

4:11

want the the only crack that I can see

4:14

now is

4:16

really when Israelis will start to

4:19

realize that there is no total guarantee

4:21

that all this will happen and the world

4:24

will continue to behave as it behaved

4:26

before this horrible War there are

4:28

already indicated for this you are now

4:31

in DC and you know what’s going on in

4:34

the campuses in the United States the

4:36

next generation of decision makers in

4:39

America are in those

4:42

campuses and they will treat Israel

4:45

entirely different this will be a new

4:47

generation with a new approach about

4:49

Israel with a an approach which will say

4:52

okay we are spending so much of our

4:55

taxpayers money on Israel which is an

4:58

American choice as if Israel is the most

5:01

needed place on Earth but there must be

5:04

some conditions for this until now it

5:06

was

5:08

uncondition so I really see that things

5:11

might change now after the 7th of

5:13

October and not necessarily for the bed

5:17

again in Israel which will feel that it

5:21

has that it should have Su strains is a

5:25

better Israel I’m interested in gon Levy

5:28

being on this island in Israel and how

5:31

many people are in your Island and is

5:32

your population increasing or decreasing

5:36

as this conflict goes

5:38

on I think we can all meet in a in a

5:42

public

5:46

po there are very few left that’s the

5:49

truth the atmosphere is really terrible

5:52

the other day I was sitting in a cafe in

5:55

the Tel Aviv Museum which is really

5:58

quite a spectac

6:00

place and my my friend was a Swedish

6:05

writer and all of a sudden a woman came

6:08

to me and really almost touched me with

6:11

her face and said only one word bed

6:15

traitor and went away this is the

6:18

atmosphere right now saying the truth is

6:21

Treon feeling empathy toward toward the

6:24

Palestinians toward the victims is

6:27

treason

6:30

the suffer of Gaza is Treon we never

6:33

faced it Israel was always very

6:36

concentrated in its own victims in its

6:39

own problems which is totally natural

6:42

and understandable but Israel was never

6:45

so blind to what’s going on one hour

6:49

away from here we were always blind

6:51

toward it and the Israeli media is

6:53

helping us to be so blind and not to

6:56

know anything but at this war we reached

7:00

a a peak that I don’t remember such a

7:03

denial such blindness not to know not

7:07

one thing to know don’t bother us with

7:09

kill children don’t bother us with

7:12

starvation and if you do bother us with

7:15

starvation you are not an Israeli

7:18

Patriot you wrote about Israel’s

7:20

incursion into Gaza back in 2009 and if

7:24

anyone reads this book it reads as if

7:27

it’s a map for what has un un un uh

7:30

happened since then and it’s incredibly

7:32

preent about many of the problems and I

7:35

I mean I I I ask you do you see anything

7:37

optimistic as you look forward given the

7:40

crisis that you first punctuated with

7:42

this powerful

7:44

book so you see still in in October

7:48

there will appear the second part of

7:50

this book and and you don’t know how

7:53

depressed I am by the fact that it’s

7:56

more or less a copy of the first part I

8:00

mean we are in the same place obviously

8:03

in a much worse place than then my only

8:06

optimism can come from the fact that I

8:10

always thought that it must get much

8:12

worse before it will get better not that

8:16

I a Marxist the Marxist believe believed

8:19

in it but Israel lived a too good life

8:23

and Israelis were got used not to be

8:27

taken accountable for anything

8:30

around them and maybe this war will

8:33

change it because once Israelis will be

8:35

taken accountable for for those horrible

8:39

things I mean such horrible things are

8:42

being done on our behalf and Israel is

8:45

feel so good about they only care about

8:48

their own victims which is natural that

8:52

you prefer your own victims but not to

8:55

see the other so I look it will be very

8:58

hard for me to to spread optimism right

9:01

now because I cannot cannot draw an

9:05

optimistic scenario I mean wherever I

9:08

look who what will be what what

9:11

leadership can make a

9:12

change with whom but by the end of the

9:16

day maybe it will get so terrible that

9:19

there will be no other choice but to

9:22

change because without a radical change

9:24

we will face the same thing in two three

9:26

years again let me uh play for you a

9:30

sound bite of Secretary of State Anthony

9:32

blinken who’s reflecting on the Gaza

9:35

crisis in the future in the absence of a

9:37

plan for the day after there won’t be a

9:39

day

9:40

after and this is where we need to go

9:45

and we need to get as quickly as

9:48

possible a plan for the day after that

9:50

does not leave Israel responsible for

9:52

Gaza which it says it does not want to

9:54

be but if it is it will simply have an

9:57

enduring Insurgency on its hands as far

9:59

as one can see into the future or not if

10:02

not Hamas will be left in charge which

10:04

is

10:05

unacceptable or if not we’ll have chaos

10:08

lawlessness and a vacuum that eventually

10:11

will be filled Again by Hamas or maybe

10:13

something if it’s possible to imagine

10:15

even worse

10:16

jihadis I’d love to get your reaction to

10:19

this first of I I obviously agree to

10:23

every word said by the secretary but

10:26

it’s part of the of the picture the

10:28

other part part is that in the current

10:32

circumstances there are no conditions

10:35

for the day after okay we get rid of

10:38

Kamas we achieved all our

10:41

goals who will run Gaza I mean Gaza

10:44

without Kamas will turn into Somalia

10:47

Gaza with Kamas will remain

10:51

kastan there is no way unless Israel

10:56

change radically its attitude to the to

10:59

the Palestinian question as a whole not

11:02

you cannot separate Gaza from the West

11:05

Bank you cannot separate the situation

11:07

in Gaza from the entire picture of a

11:10

brutal occupation of 56 years of an

11:13

aparti state if those things will not be

11:17

touched there will be no solution for

11:20

the day after even in even if secretary

11:23

blinkin is right by saying that Israel

11:25

doesn’t have a plan the current Israel

11:28

cannot have a plan it’s not that it

11:30

doesn’t plan it cannot have a plan who

11:33

who will run Gaza according to Blink in

11:36

the C in the in the present circumstance

11:39

who who whom does he suggest I mean

11:42

Swiss the Swiss Army who who is going to

11:45

run Gaza for God’s sake and as long as

11:48

we don’t change the basic attitude I

11:51

don’t see any any

11:53

solution one of the horrific things we

11:56

saw televised was the aftermath

11:59

of a bombing of a camp in Rafa of

12:03

innocent people 45 dead many more

12:06

injured burned children um Israeli Prime

12:09

Minister Netanyahu said that this was a

12:11

tragic error and a mistake that would be

12:12

investigated it was a US bomb uh used in

12:16

this in this Camp question I have in

12:18

this is how does someone in Israel who

12:22

sees the same footage not think that

12:25

those kinds of incidents are going to

12:28

create a new next generation of people

12:31

with deep grievances who want to settle

12:35

the score or who want revenge whose

12:38

parents or children or sisters and

12:40

brothers were killed in this awful way

12:43

how is there no sense of that that

12:46

Injustice breeds

12:51

violence your assumtions Steve are wrong

12:55

first of all you are ass that the

12:56

Israelis watch those SE

13:00

I mean they were shown those SCS I don’t

13:02

want to say that they were not shown but

13:04

it’s all about framing as we both know

13:08

and even this horrible

13:10

incident was presented to the Israelis

13:14

in a very soft and short way namely it

13:18

happens in war things like this happen

13:21

some blame on Hamas who is hiding among

13:24

the the refugees there some hints that

13:27

maybe it was palestin ammunition which

13:30

was bombed nothing but taking

13:33

accountability nothing but feeling some

13:36

kind of Mercy on

13:39

those

13:41

victims so the Israelis don’t even go

13:45

farer than this before you think about

13:47

the consequences how will the world see

13:50

and how will the next generation of

13:52

Palestinian seat you have first of all

13:54

to look upon yourself and to to declare

13:58

to to be touched by it to say that you

14:01

are sorry about it what the Prime

14:02

Minister said was Hol he said it because

14:06

the international criminal court is and

14:09

the international court of justice is is

14:13

like a like

14:15

a

14:17

dark s following him now because they’re

14:21

all very scared of what they will what

14:24

will be their rulings but he didn’t mean

14:27

it obviously and even what he said was H

14:30

where is the

14:32

apology where is the sorrow where is the

14:36

empathy with the with the victims for

14:39

God’s sake nothing of it you you heard

14:42

we are asking and demanding the whole

14:44

world to to share our Agony about the

14:47

hostages to share our Agony about the

14:50

killed soldiers but we don’t spare any

14:53

emotions toward our

14:55

victims I listen to some Israeli cabinet

14:58

officials who say that any move towards

15:00

a ceasefire any consideration of Israeli

15:03

uh withdrawal would be a gift for Hamas

15:07

how is that equation playing out and is

15:08

there any are there any dissenting

15:10

voices that we should listen to and that

15:12

you think are

15:14

serious you see Steve we were both last

15:18

week in Doha in a very interesting

15:20

conference and I met some people that I

15:23

guess you met as well senior people in

15:26

the Qatari Administration

15:29

and they all told me we don’t have a

15:32

partner I mean Israel is is not a

15:34

partner for a deal right and it’s very

15:37

clear from here that this government

15:39

gave up on the

15:41

hostages there’s no other conclusion

15:43

that anyone can get except of this from

15:46

the beginning people like me claim that

15:49

Israel has has to make make a choice

15:52

between the war and releasing the

15:54

hostages you have to choose between the

15:56

two because the two will not be achieved

15:58

together

15:59

Israel clearly chose to continue the war

16:03

under

16:05

this notion of the ultimate Victory

16:09

crashing Kamas which will never happen

16:12

obviously but by this we gave up on the

16:15

hostages and therefore I don’t see any

16:18

deal in the coming days or weeks no way

16:21

Israel is not

16:22

interested you know and I want to read

16:24

you something I’m sure you’ve seen

16:25

before but it’s a a classified cable

16:29

um that was released as part of the

16:31

Wikileaks um releases and and in this

16:35

cable State Department official says

16:37

Israeli officials have confirmed to

16:40

Embassy officials on multiple occasions

16:42

that they intend to keep the gazin

16:44

economy functioning at the lowest level

16:46

possible consistent with avoiding a

16:49

humanitarian crisis in other words

16:51

Israel surrounding Gaza keeping it at a

16:55

bare subsistence level this is years ago

16:58

and I’d love to get your thoughts on

17:00

this you probably have written about

17:01

this cable before but when I read it you

17:04

know I get goosebumps down my back

17:06

because I’ve saying wow that is a really

17:09

incredible state-based plan to never

17:12

proceed with anything other than be

17:15

subsistence for a large number uh of

17:17

people essentially under your under your

17:20

control from the

17:23

exterior Steve how else can you explain

17:27

the siege of a Gaza which is 17 years so

17:30

almost 18 years long there’s no other

17:34

explanation for The Siege but what you

17:37

have just quoted we don’t even need this

17:40

cable when Israel put a Siege over Gaza

17:45

what did you think that will it mean for

17:48

for Gaza Prosperity Freedom

17:54

Innovation wealth what can come out when

17:57

you put 2.3 million people in the

17:59

biggest cage in the world what did you

18:01

expect will come out of it but the

18:04

problem is that the International

18:06

Community and the United States on top

18:09

of it lived in peace with it as long as

18:13

the Palestinians didn’t shoot the whole

18:15

world was very indifferent our The Siege

18:18

and this is so critical because the

18:21

World closed it eyes for 17 years to the

18:24

fact that Israel

18:26

is doing a huge crime of War much before

18:31

the war by putting 2.3 million people in

18:35

the biggest open jail in the world and

18:38

the world the world said nothing about

18:40

it do you believe we’re seeing Israel

18:43

commit genocide in

18:47

Gaza I would say so here I have also to

18:51

be careful because it’s all about the

18:54

court now to decide is is it a genocide

18:57

or not I will quot myself with all the

19:00

modesty one of my pieces was had the

19:04

title in har had the title if it’s not

19:06

genocide what is

19:09

it and I know the genocide requires some

19:13

conditions I mean the legal definition

19:16

requires a a

19:19

intense I don’t think that Israeli

19:22

government got a decision of on the

19:24

seventh or eth of or 9th of October we

19:28

are going for a genocide in Gaza no this

19:31

was not the case it was also God forbid

19:34

about the the comparison it was not also

19:39

a plan for a final solution for Gaza no

19:44

but the outcome speaks about itself this

19:47

Mass

19:49

killing how else can you describe it I

19:52

mean I mean 15,000 children imagine

19:55

yourself 15,000 children being killed

19:59

how can we call it

20:01

anti-terror

20:02

campaign how else can you call it so

20:06

genocide maybe is too too sensitive

20:09

because of history but isn’t it a mass

20:12

killing sure it is a mass killing is it

20:16

isn’t it criminal sure it is Criminal

20:18

how else can someone Define it I don’t

20:22

understand even the question by by the

20:25

meaning that what will the court say

20:28

that it’s not a genocide it’s a picnic

20:31

it’s not with with those figures with

20:34

this reality when you throw bombs on

20:37

neighborhoods when when you kill 45

20:41

people refugees with the excuse of one

20:44

or two terrorist or not terrorists who

20:47

were hiding there do you have the right

20:49

to kill 45 people for two terrorists I

20:53

mean and where does it end 45 is okay

20:56

and what about 450 a know sent people

20:59

for one terrorist it’s endless and it’s

21:02

criminal just finally and I’m interested

21:05

in the political moment and you know I’m

21:07

always careful in this because this may

21:09

be wrong but but there are some that are

21:11

saying if elections were held today in

21:13

Israel that that prime minister

21:15

Netanyahu might be back in power might

21:17

be empowered by this moment if elections

21:19

were held in Palestine Hamas uh may very

21:23

well win you know if you agree with that

21:25

I mean the question is what if anything

21:28

has been achieved um in this

21:32

conflict in this war nothing was

21:35

achieved for sure not for Israel I mean

21:37

Israel only lost in this war there’s not

21:40

one single achievement that Israel can

21:43

can

21:44

show I’m not sure that n will be

21:47

reelected but it’s unbelievable that

21:50

there is a good

21:51

chance the problem is St and here the

21:56

pro the picture becomes even more

21:59

depressing that even if you will step

22:02

down even if he will be replaced even if

22:05

Benny Gan so AED whoever will win those

22:10

elections there will be too little

22:12

change the world will get out of its way

22:15

they will all hug the new because

22:18

they’re all waiting n to go home and

22:21

everyone will want to meet the new

22:23

elected prime minister and and he might

22:26

even go and meet Mahmud abas in Mala but

22:29

when it will come to the core issues

22:32

continuing the war continuing the

22:34

occupation continuing the apart you

22:37

think there will be a big change I have

22:39

news for you and news for our viewers

22:42

don’t expect too much well we’ll have to

22:45

leave it there really appreciate your

22:47

cander Israeli journalist and author

22:49

gone Levy thank you so much for being

22:51

with us today thank you Steve for those

22:54

wonderful questions so what’s the bottom

22:57

line we have seen this script before

23:00

weaponized nationalism dehumanize the

23:03

enemy mix in fear and paranoia and waila

23:06

politicians get a noxious Brew to build

23:09

their power base it happened in the US

23:11

when it was driven by Revenge to attack

23:13

Iraq and the killing of hundreds of

23:15

thousands of Iraqis was rationalized by

23:17

the same token motivated by Revenge

23:20

supporters of Israel are rationalizing

23:22

the unrelenting assault that has killed

23:24

tens of thousands of innocent

23:26

Palestinians those who are raising

23:28

questions about the solvy of Israel’s

23:30

actions are labeled anti-semitic or as

23:32

anti-israel or as racists or bigots my

23:35

guest today is calling out the leaders

23:37

of his own government but the sad truth

23:39

is that few share those views in gone

23:41

Levy’s country Israel is far away from

23:44

introspection and rationality and it’s

23:46

mostly still matically focused on the

23:48

indiscriminate destruction of Gaza there

23:51

shouldn’t be any illusions that this

23:52

phase is even close to being over

23:55

especially with Washington’s blanket

23:57

support and and that’s the bottom line

24:06

[Music]

oooooo

Max Blumenthal: Israel-Palestine, Gaza, West Bank, Iran, Egypt, Netanyahu, Biden, Trump, China.

Bideoa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttU4Z97uGOk

In this podcast, we hosted Max Blumenthal of the @thegrayzone7996 to discuss what is going on in Gaza at the moment, especially with the invasion of Rafah and the renewed atrocities in north Gaza. We then discussed how Max sees the role of Egypt and Jordan in this conflict. We also discussed his thoughts on the Palestinian Authority. From there we talk about Iran and the American attitude to spreading the conflict in Palestine to Iran. We also discussed Grayzone’s expose of the New York Times Dec 28 coverage on systemic use of sexual violence by Hamas on October 7. Finally, we discussed the US-China relationship and the prospect of peace in the future.

Transkripzioa:

0:00

since October 7th I mean everything’s been destroyed and hamas’s message that we

0:06

suffer with the people is resonating that we come from the people Hamas also

0:12

has uh you know its zakat committees its social Aid committees which have won a

0:18

lot of Goodwill they’ve brought people Aid they’ve been more efficient than the Palestinian Authority as a municipal

0:26

Authority uh they’ve been less corrupt and I could I could be proven WR but I would expect as long as Biden’s

0:33

in there many more provocations to come between now and November particularly

0:39

possibly an October surprise on behalf of trump you know the intercept came in late in the game and started um

0:46

definitely stealing a lot of credit for what we did although they later credited us

0:59

[Music] hello and welcome to another episode of India and Global Life today we have with

1:05

us a very special guest Max blumint Max is an author of several books and an

1:10

American journalist he is the editor of the gry Zone which is well known for his critique of US foreign policy among

1:17

other things Max welcome to Indian Global left so max I wanted to start

1:22

with uh what’s going on in in Gaza we have seen two things in particular in uh

1:28

in this month um um firstly the Seas and the shelling of

1:34

Rafa earlier millions of people from North Gaza and but also darel Mah and

1:41

hanun were pushed into the southern tip of the Rafa City and now they are being bombarded uh unra recently said that

1:48

32,000 people have already fled from Rafa I don’t know where they have fled to but we have also seen uh renewed

1:55

bombardment of zabala and other places in uh in in in in north of Gaza

2:03

um hospitals like Alaska and Alda are at the verge of collapse so as an opening

2:09

statement can you uh tell us a little bit about what’s going on in Gaza at the

2:15

moment well it depends on who you ask

2:22

um if you really want to know what’s going on the Israelis will present veral different

2:31

narratives that are wildly different from what you’re getting from the Palestinians so I’ll try to unpack the

2:39

different perspectives on what’s going on um from the perspective of the Palestinian civilian in Gaza what’s

2:46

happening is a kind of a nightmare where they’re constantly having to pack up and flee

2:54

every month or so and they’re trying to figure out where the most stable area is

2:59

where they particularly the population from the north which has lost

3:05

about um at least 700,000 residents who are constantly on the Move many of them

3:11

fled All the Way South to Rafa and then their tents just got torched in the maasi area which Israel said was a safe

3:18

Zone by these small diameter bombs provided by the us because the US said if Israel uses smaller bombs they’ll

3:25

kill less people and they carried out one of the most heinous massacres just because it burned people alive by

3:31

setting their tank their their tents on fire and so that area has been cleared out um and I think Israel’s deliberately

3:38

attacking these Refugee areas to try to force them to go to a place like darlala

3:44

in the Central Area because they want to get in deeper with their ground

3:50

forces the Israeli perspective on Rafa is that there are four Hamas battalions

3:55

and all the hostages are being held there and Netanyahu needs a win uh he

4:00

needs to show Victory and basically dangle it in the

4:06

face of all of his haters who are circling the wagons who who are um circling like sharks around him in

4:12

Israel in Israeli politics he says that you know we’re going to free the

4:18

Liberate the hostages we’re going to eliminate the remaining four Hamas battalions but none of this is happening

4:23

and we can see the military failure of Israel through what’s taking place in jabalia all the way in in the north

4:30

where it claimed an operational hold in January and that it said that it had

4:36

eliminated as a cohesive unit the Hamas battalions in that area or Battalion and

4:44

Israel is now taking a lot of losses there they’re back uh there’s heavy

4:49

fighting all the time and they’re unable to dislodge the alasam brigades and the

4:55

ALDS Sarah Al Goods uh the armed wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad as well as the

5:01

other factions they’re just unable to do it in jabalia so the idea that they could do it in Rafa is ridiculous but

5:08

that’s what they’re trying to do the Israelis are claiming some sort of victory in south of

5:15

Rafa because they’ve gotten a hold of what’s known as the Philadelphia Corridor between Rafa and what used to

5:22

be the Egyptian side of Rafa before CeCe blew all those homes up but what what is the Egyptian side and they’re claiming

5:29

that they are cut off the oxygen lines to Hamas that they found 27

5:35

tunnels and that they’re going to fully suffocate Gaza I don’t believe them at all because

5:42

they’ve been lying this whole time not just lying about massacr claiming they were mistakes but lying about their

5:48

military successes they’ve been back to alifa hospital in Gaza City twice to supposedly clear out Hamas operatives

5:55

there they’ll probably be back again it’s just kind of an endless war

6:01

Israel’s National Security adviser Zaki hanegby who’s the um one of the closest confidants of

6:08

Netanyahu in Israeli politics has said that the war will continue into next year his Deputy whose name is yuram

6:16

hamoo resigned because he said that the war has no plan there’s no clear

6:21

strategy and it could be going on for several years and that the hostages will not be released for several years and

6:29

then you have the political situation in Israel where Netanyahu is being protested in the

6:34

streets by the families of the hostages because they say correctly that

6:39

Netanyahu does not want to negotiate for the release and have a ceasefire because that would mean the

6:46

end of his not only the end of his career but he will face harsh consequences once he leaves office he

6:52

loses amnesty for all of these corruption trials he faces he was going to trial before he was elected and

6:58

formed a government he’ll go back to trial and though and in netanyahu’s thugs the lud party thugs

7:06

are actually going out and attacking these families two days ago a parent of one of the hostages in Gaza was pepper

7:13

sprayed in the face by one of netanyahu’s hooligans so the hostage issue is destabilizing Israeli politics

7:20

Israel is failing militarily Palestinian civilians are suffering enormously uh

7:25

because they they have really nowhere to live uh and the aid is failing to go in

7:31

so right now is another period of famine where there’s only only canned food

7:37

available in lots of areas uh fresh fruit hasn’t been available in central Gaza for like three weeks um but the

7:44

Palestinian civilian population seems to be behind the

7:49

resistance which is has lured Israel into a kind of political trap uh and

7:57

none of Israel’s supposed milit successes are are uh will will last for

8:04

more than a few weeks um so where where can this go it looks like to me I mean

8:10

maybe you know people will come back to this interview and watch it in a few months

8:16

or in a few years and what I’m saying will just seem like I’m you know talking about current events contemporary

8:22

Affairs but we we’re witnessing the uh rapid

8:27

erosion not just of the credit ability of Israel on the world stage but of the viability of the Zionist system because

8:35

the Zionist system requires a leader who has credibility

8:40

domestically uh Netanyahu does have that to some degree he he might be unpopular

8:46

as a whole but he’s the most popular figure in Israel and he’s been around for a long time and he’s able to form a

8:53

coalition that includes the furthest of the far right uh with other he he could

8:59

even form a coalition with uh you know Centrist figures and you know the at the

9:06

same time you have to have someone in Israel who can also be kind of a Salesman of Zionism on the world stage

9:13

and Netanyahu has mastered that he comes from the United States he speaks perfect English he understands the US political

9:20

system he has you know donors in his back pocket who are ready to uh manipulate both you know both parties so

9:30

nany is sort of a unique figure and there’s no one after him who can fill that role there is no real towering

9:38

figure like Netanyahu so when Netanyahu leaves the stage Israel’s crisis will

9:43

deepen it’s unclear what will happen with the hostages but based on what I’m seeing right

9:49

now they will either die because of starvation as or uh die from Israeli

9:56

bombings die from the same conditions that Palestinians are dying in or there will be a major deal and Hamas

10:05

is holding firm to its terms of the deal a total ceasefire and it wants top

10:12

security prisoners to be released which has been a red line for Israel including people like Marwan baruti so if if Hamas

10:20

gets the deal that will destabilize Israeli politics enormously and lead to

10:27

the demise not just of Netanyahu but probably of the leud party if there’s no

10:32

deal and the hostages die Netanyahu is also doomed because he allowed he just allowed them to die for

10:39

his own personal narcissistic political to fulfill his own narcissistic

10:45

political objectives so there doesn’t seem to be any way out for Israel’s current leadership and I think this will

10:52

hasten the destabilization of Israeli society and politics um and we you know

10:57

I haven’t even gotten into the dynamic DCS of a possible Civil War within Israel but that also seems

11:04

possible in terms of popularity of nyaho I mean I read a recent PE research

11:10

report uh at alira that’s found that and this is prior to the uh seizing of Rafa

11:17

Which F which said basically 68% of Israelis think that what they are doing

11:23

with the Palestinians are are good so it’s it’s not necessarily about n

11:29

also also Gideon Levy today wrote that uh even without Gans Netanyahu would be

11:36

having like 64 seats uh in in in in their legislature so his his government

11:42

might not fall even without someone like uh G um I wanted to ask uh since you

11:50

mentioned about uh the peace processes and also um Egypt in particular uh it

11:58

seems that there is a huge pressure on States like Egypt and Jordan in particular from

12:06

their own population regarding what has been going on in in in in Palestine and

12:11

they seem to be um they seem to be in a hard position I mean there is a reported

12:18

Talk phone call between Biden and LCC to sort of smooth the relation strained

12:23

relationship between Israel and uh Egypt I wanted to ask you how do you see the

12:29

role of uh States like Egypt and Jordan which on one hand doesn’t support the Muslim Brotherhood which uh you know

12:37

does everything with the US that it likes but also is part of the peace process uh uh in in so many ways how do

12:44

you see their role well their role is to essentially

12:50

prop up to to provide Israel with strategic depth and uh an elite within their

12:58

society receives favors from the west and guarantees of stability and their

13:05

population can maintain some level of stability and be free from Israeli and

13:11

Western violence as well as all of the uh toxins that come with it like Isis

13:18

infestation that’s sort of been the the agreement since Camp David was

13:23

authorized in 1979 between Egypt and netanyahu’s

13:29

predecessor manum Bean his sort of in ideological

13:34

forefather um that Arrangement is eroding as well I mean we saw an egypti

13:40

an Egyptian Soldier get shot on the border of Rafa by an Israeli soldier

13:46

just 48 hours ago uh the Egyptians are Furious but what can they do Egypt has a

13:54

massive debt crisis the currency is in freef

14:00

fall the society is growing rapidly the population’s growing rapidly and there’s

14:06

less and less that the state can provide them without the support of the West and then you have the sort of upper middle

14:12

class that’s been created by Camp David which is hostile to Palestinians the

14:17

military Elite which controls at least one-third of the economy controls tourism controls so much of the uh

14:26

Egyptian GDP that their entire their entire economy the entire

14:34

economy that supports the people who make the decisions and provide the base

14:40

for CCE to serve and which supported the coup that destroyed the first

14:47

democratically elected government in 5,000 years in Egypt Muslim Brotherhood government which led to the killing the

14:54

slow motion killing of the elected president Muhammad morsy in prison That Base that constituency cannot imagine

15:02

imagine a life without Camp David without this relationship this cold

15:07

peace with Israel that guarantees all the US military aid everything that comes with it including some measure of

15:14

stability and stability is Paramount for Abdullah or CeCe or their

15:20

constituents so while we’re seeing an erosion of their relations with the West

15:26

I don’t really see anything changing there one reason that Jordan helped take down Iranian

15:34

ballistic missiles was because they’re basically hosting so many US military

15:39

bases both openly and secretly and that is really the key for

15:46

Jordan to survive I mean I i’ I’ve spent a decent amount of time in both Egypt and Jordan when you get out of Cairo or

15:54

you get out of Aman you see almost nothing but poverty Ian I guess Egypt

15:59

has Alexandria and a few other cities but it’s extremely poor uh those cities

16:06

depend heavily on Western investment and and the NGO class and of course as I

16:12

said military aid Abdullah is ruling over millions of Palestinians and they understand that uh

16:19

during the Arab Spring for example I was there they understood that Jordan was keeping the lights on whereas Syria was

16:26

being destabilized by a dirty war Isis was infested areas of Iraq and Syria and

16:31

they were hosting uh tens and tens of thousands of Syrian refugees at camps in the desert

16:38

right over the Syrian border so their biggest fear was to be destabilized like those other countries uh Lebanon had

16:45

that fear as well and Abdullah through his apparently through his agreements with the

16:52

West because OB it was obvious the West Was controlling Al-Qaeda and Isis and

16:57

along with turkey and partner uh you know they kept them out so I think there are all these barriers

17:04

we have to consider before the population the will of the population of Egypt and Jordan can actually be

17:10

actually be realized Visa Israel and um those barriers really speak to

17:18

the um the kind of the the bare life conditions that so many people in the

17:25

Middle East have uh that that have been imposed on

17:31

them since the demise of Arab nationalism yeah talking about Arab

17:38

nationalism and also stabilizing agents I think the other entity or element uh is the

17:46

Palestinian Authority about which I wanted to ask you because one of the things that hasn’t been discussed a lot

17:53

in the media or hasn’t hit the headlines is the continued atrocity in the West

17:59

Bank I mean more than 500 people are killed in the West Bank since October um

18:04

smart trats has been constantly talking about SM snapping um the Palestinian

18:10

banking system from the Israeli banking system which would lead to collapse of currency collapse of Palestinian

18:16

businesses that are very import important for import export trade um

18:22

gallant and others are talking about um legalizing settlements uh in in areas

18:29

nor of uh uh the West Bank uh and also there are talks about withhold of tax by

18:35

Israel is in the settlement area um there are two views about the

18:40

Palestinian Authority one is the New York Times Thomas fredman kind of view that if somehow Hamas goes and if

18:47

Netanyahu goes as if under the negotiated process by Palestinian

18:52

Authority on one hand and some moderate government in Israel on the other hand would lead us to the bring up peace and

19:00

then there is the more um other side uh starting with people like Edward S and

19:06

many many who are associated with the Palestinian solidarity and the resistance movement who saw the

19:11

architects of Oslo uh to have betrayed uh the Palestinian nationalist cause

19:16

what are your views of the Palestinian Authority well Oso was sort of an

19:22

extension of Camp David where it seemed to offer an olive

19:27

branch from the West to the Arab world and seemed to offer them the promise of more autonomy but what it actually did

19:36

was lock them into an agreement that not only politically but also economically

19:42

in locked them in to a system of permanent

19:48

suppression uh self-suppression in a way where certain class was

19:53

rewarded uh as the deao vichi author

19:59

to keep the rest of the population in a kind of panopticon and financially I mean through the Paris protocols the

20:06

Palestinian Authority the population of the West Bank was locked into a system of neoliberalism which also enabled

20:12

Israel to become their tax collector and Israel can withhold taxes collected by

20:18

the Palestinian Authority and say hey you can’t have your own Revenue unless you bow

20:25

down um you have so much of the population now in the West Bank in debt

20:30

um that’s part of the neoliberal Paris protocol system the agricultural economy has been destroyed through Oso and the

20:38

Paris protocols and much of the agricultural land has been chewed up by settlements uh in area C you know Oslo

20:47

established these three areas within the West Bank area a the densely populated urban areas which are under full

20:53

Palestinian Authority control area B which is mixed control between Israel and the PA which means Israeli control

20:59

and area C full Israeli control and the idea was at some point they’re going to negotiate and and it will all become one

21:07

Palestinian state but of course Israel was never going to do that so area C is just filled with the most fanatical

21:14

settlements and the settlers function as a kind of proxy Force for the military

21:19

carrying out these I mean right now they’re officially becoming part of the military they’ve been given American M4

21:26

rifles and uniforms and they’re going on and terrorizing all the population outside of area a so you have entire

21:33

Villages across the West Bank now that are abandoned that was all that because of Oslo so Edward S it his warning was

21:42

like the final warning uh and it was really important for him it’s really important to go back

21:48

and read what he wrote at that time because he predicted everything that would happen that everything that’s

21:53

happening now it’s no reason it’s it’s no surprise yaser Arafat actually had his book banned from bookstores in rala

22:00

and I think there were some raids of bookstores that carried his book so you know when I’ve been in rala I’ve spent a

22:07

lot of time there I’d be you know riding in a cafe and some heavys set British

22:14

guys would come in or American guys and order a bunch of you know meats and food

22:20

sit down drink be drinking beers these were security contractors from mercenary

22:26

firms like dinec that were training the Palestinian Authority and making them

22:32

into a force whose only role was to repress Palestinians who engaged in

22:40

resistance last night I think it was last night Palestine time uh Israeli

22:46

forces were in the middle of romala in those same areas where I was you know hanging out in cafes in Manara square

22:53

and they were raiding Palestinian homes they were tear gassing people they set in entire Fruit Market vegetable market

23:00

on fire uh with their uh weapons and the Palestinian Authority of course they’re

23:06

nowhere to be found and in some cases what the Palestinian Authority does is they work handing glove with Israeli

23:13

Security Forces for example there was a car ramming attack of Israeli soldiers who were terrorizing Palestinians around

23:21

nablas two soldiers died and the perpetrator handed himself into the Palestinian Authority which promptly

23:27

handed him over to the Israelis that’s how it works uh in the bolata refugee camp in

23:34

nais which I visited several times during the day the Palestinian Authority

23:39

patrols arrest people uh who are involved in resistance activities during the night the Israelis

23:45

come in they’re they’re basically changing shifts so everyone sees what

23:50

the Palestinian Authority is in the West Bank but then again it’s a question of stability you have Janine in the north

23:56

where the Palestinian authorities lost control resistance factions are operating they’re fighting the Israelis they’re

24:02

outgunned uh but they’re fighting them every day also in uh taram in the

24:09

refugee camps around tarum there are regular gunfights with the Israelis and that’s the choice that’s presented to

24:16

the average Palestinian resident of the West Bank is do you want to be like Janine where Israel is actually starting

24:21

to operate with attack aircraft drop bombs in Janine bring bulldozers in to

24:27

destroy the central areas um you know terrorize your population or do you want

24:32

to be like rala the five-star occupation where you can it it seems usually like

24:38

you’re in a normal Arab City anywhere in the Arab world until you leave and then you’re surrounded by walls and

24:44

settlements uh and you can see like the settlement of sagot and its Winery which exports wine abroad within rala do you

24:52

want I mean what is your choice they’re pretty bad choices um but what do you

24:57

choose and you know having been in Gaza it’s the population just thinks differently

25:04

they’ve been conditioned they’ve been they’ve grown up under different conditions and they’re proud of the

25:12

choice that they’ve made to resist with weapons they’re proud to have military

25:18

um military parades through the center of Gaza City with a military that

25:23

actually fights whereas in rala the parades there would be like old oldtime

25:29

fata fighters who used to fight and then uh civil servants and like children

25:34

twirling batons that’s like the fata parade so people in Gaza are proud of

25:39

that and Israel is trying one of the reasons Israel is terrorizing them so harshly is to first of all send them a

25:46

message yeah you are proud of resisting you are proud to have a military well we’re going to make you feel the pain

25:53

but also to send a message to everyone in the West Bank who’s not resisting and is still living under under the control

25:58

of the Palestinian Authority which is here’s your choice you take take that and we’ll burn

26:05

you a you know resist and we’ll burn you alive uh just take what you have and

26:11

accept your life under occupation forever and Mahmud abas in some ways what he’s

26:18

done is is impressive um he’s he’s outlasted all the other Palestinian

26:24

leaders through cunning and guile and conniving against the interests of

26:33

his own people uh and he’s just still alive somehow I mean whatever I don’t

26:39

know what pills he’s taking but I want some of that I think this brings us to um uh

26:46

Hamas itself I mean talking about uh representatives of people one of the

26:51

arguments is that Hamas grew up um you

26:57

know mid 2000 due to these betrayals uh of uh the

27:03

Palestinian aspiration and they gave genuine um support to aspirations of the

27:10

Palestinian nationalist cause how do you look and and but there are

27:15

also reservations about Hamas how it operates internally um so on and so forth I was

27:23

wondering what how do you look at Hamas as an institution and and maybe what do you think is the extent of support for

27:30

Hamas uh within Gaza well I’ve been to you know

27:37

Hamas uh celebrations or Hamas uh Hamas events in Gaza City we should

27:44

say the Crowds Are massive there uh they have a large popular base and I’ve

27:51

talked and I’ve spent time with people who are sort of part of the middle class intelligencia in Gaza who don’t support

27:59

Hamas on a cultural or religious basis find them to be oppressive don’t support

28:05

any faction but they support the alasan brigades which is the armed wing of

28:11

Hamas and there’s a there’s a division between the leadership of Hamas and the

28:16

alasan brigades you’ll see Hamas leaders out there shaking hands or um you know

28:24

putting on a show with florid rhetoric Giant events and they’ll be surrounded

28:29

by the fighters but you rarely see the leadership of the alasan brigades if

28:36

ever it’s sort of a semi SEC organization like the IRA Muhammad da is the leader technically he’s the leader

28:44

of the alasam brigades there’s only one photograph of him his Mo most of his

28:49

family has been killed in Israeli assassinations um I wouldn’t say I was

28:55

witness to one assassination attempt I was a neighborhood of way when Israel Dropped a 2,000lb Bomb on an apartment

29:01

to kill him and he survived they killed his wife and kid um and it’s this I and

29:08

he’s probably uh somewhat malformed or um very wounded from all the attacks

29:15

that he suffered he’s on he’s probably in a tunnel so it’s this idea that he suffers

29:22

with the people and faces the same circumstances that they do he’s not

29:27

hanging out in Doha and Conference Halls like much of hamas’s exiled leadership

29:33

is and so the people identify with him he’s sort of a folk hero and the the

29:39

alasan brigades come from the people they are a popular fighting force that’s

29:44

supplemented also by Palestinian Islamic Jihad but also by the pflp which is traditionally the left of

29:53

Palestinian Society in Gaza it’s a little different um they right now I mean

29:59

they’re militarily being supported by Iran there’s no Soviet Union to support them but you know it’s not just Hamas

30:06

who’s taking the fight to Israel at this point so the point is they have the respect they have the respect of society

30:14

which like any other Society under occupation wants to fight for their

30:19

Liberation Hamas also has uh you know its zakat committees its social Aid

30:25

committees which have won a lot of Goodwill they’ve brought people Aid they’ve been

30:30

more efficient than the Palestinian Authority as a municipal Authority uh

30:36

they’ve been less corrupt over the years although as they rule they become more and more like uh you know a typical

30:43

government and you know I I I walked around Gaza City with you know some Youth and you would see these guys with

30:50

short beards and Suits on coming out of uh hotels and they all have the same

30:56

look about them they look like Muslim Brotherhood operatives and you could see the contempt that the youth would have

31:02

for them that these guys are becoming very increasingly insular they’re bringing in money from Qatar to build

31:08

fancy mosques while the people were suffering so there was that but at this point since October 7th I mean

31:15

everything’s been destroyed and hamas’s message that we suffer with the people is resonating

31:22

that we come from the people um and I think they’ve been greatly underestimated by the West which thinks

31:29

that they can be removed somehow or that Palestine can be liberated from Hamas uh

31:35

it’s it’s not only delusional it really speaks to the ignorance the complete ignorance of the National Security and

31:42

foreign policy Elite in the west that they’re actually backing up a regime change campaign against Gaza which is

31:51

leading to this humanitarian crisis because they will not allow Hamas police or municipal authorities to operate in

31:57

the open to protect the aid shipments and to allow the aid to be distributed to the people they’re backing a campaign

32:04

of the complete political extermination of everyone affiliated with Hamas which is leading to

32:10

genocide um so Hamas has to be recognized as a legitimate governing

32:17

Authority if there ever is going to be a Palestinian State whether you believe in

32:22

a two-state solution or a one-state solution the West refuses to do it I think another aspect here also is Islam

32:30

and religion um that after the 1967 war

32:37

which was so humiliating and was particularly

32:42

humiliating for Gamal ABD Del Nasser who failed to see that the attack was coming but

32:50

also for Haz al-assad uh the two lions of Arab nationalism a lot of people just began

32:56

turning to the mosque and to is islamism and then within

33:01

Palestinian society as Israeli repression grew harsher during the occupation and then particularly during

33:06

the first intifada uh which was led um by secular

33:12

organizations which which also which also gave birth to Hamas a lot of uh

33:17

people also turned to the mosque for protection uh to get through the psychological Terror that was being

33:24

imposed on them day after day and I know women from the West Bank who said that they put on the hijab they covered their

33:30

heads just because it made them feel safer as they were constantly being teargas and facing violence all the time

33:37

um and so that has to be recognized as well there’s really nothing that can nothing that can replace Hamas in

33:44

Palestinian Society unless the West wants to continue supporting nihilistic

33:51

genocide and allow everyone to starve in a despotic hell hole in which case you

33:57

will start to see an ISIS likee group start to come to the

34:04

four yeah talking about West’s uh blood Lust For genocide um I wanted

34:12

to ask you about Iran um I mean it was striking when you were um kind of

34:20

separating the popularity or popular response to Hamas in terms of how they

34:25

look at the leadership uh Exile leadership in Qatar and how they look at their popular leaders on ground I was

34:32

thinking about how sections of middle class Iranians would differentiate between how to look how they would look

34:38

at you know aspects of what is called as the morality police and how they would look at the K revolutionary forces for

34:44

instance um but my question to you is that Israel has been

34:51

constantly uh trying to provoke Iran uh into a larger regional conflict and um

34:58

I’m not sure about the attitude of the Americans because the report seems to be

35:04

quite uh seem to be quite all over the place there are reports that American Elites are reluctant about plunging into

35:11

another Iraq like situation because they know that Iran is much bigger they are more powerful and so on but there are

35:17

also reports that says that the American Elites stand firmly behind Israel and

35:22

their instigation uh what’s going on at that on that front with the Americans

35:28

yeah what’s the American attitude to Israeli provocation of a larger regional

35:34

conflict well you know I was looking at the death of Ibrahim RI the president

35:41

and in the in the light of the killing or assassination of kasum

35:46

solmani who was the head of the irgc second most powerful figure in

35:52

Iran and you know the circumstances are the same although I can’t be sure that in a assassination took place here the

35:59

circumstance was that you know Donald Trump refused to uh was was was as much of a kind of

36:10

stooge of Netanyahu as he was he wasn’t going to give Netanyahu what he wanted

36:16

which is for the US to engage directly in a regional war with Iran on behalf of Israel that’s netanyahu’s Ultimate Dream

36:22

it’s his his life’s work is to get the US to attack Iran on behalf of Israel

36:29

because he recognizes that there is no resistance without Iran to

36:34

Zionism and Israel’s entire uh you know expansionist ambition

36:42

can be realized without Iran so solmani was

36:49

killed through uh after a long campaign of Netanyahu lobbying and

36:55

manipulating uh mainly through Mike Pompeo former CIA director who became

37:01

Secretary of State until they could finally convince Trump to do it they killed him on his way to a peace

37:06

conference with uh a peace conference in Iraq with Saudi

37:12

Arabia which was also very threatening I think the whole idea of Ira of Iran and

37:18

the sa and the Saudis coming together maybe working together through bricks uh would be

37:24

deeply deeply damaging to the whole Western divide and conquer strategy they killed him

37:31

RI was killed following this exchange between Iran and

37:36

Israel in which Israel attacked Iran’s Consulate in Syria in Damascus an attack

37:42

on Sovereign Iranian territory uh Brazen something we’ve never seen before more

37:48

Brazen than the US attack on the Chinese Embassy in belgrad and they were trying to draw the

37:54

US in and what did the Biden Administration they directly told Israel we’re going to send the Patriot

38:00

batteries we’re going to get the jordanians to help take them take down the Iranian uh inevitable Counterattack

38:06

and they did then they told Israel take the W take the win but we’re not going to respond and attack Iran and then

38:14

suddenly on a helicopter containing not just RI but also the foreign minister

38:21

and top religious figures it goes down the other two helicopters land uh the

38:27

political conditions are the same so the question is we do have the

38:36

question is how does the ruling faction in the US which controls the White House respond to the constant Israeli push to

38:44

provoke the us into attacking Iran an attack which I think violates

38:50

contravenes US national interests and the US does have national interests

38:56

which diverge St strongly from Israel’s I think on

39:02

the generally US national interests diverge from Israel’s at this point in

39:07

history um and the Biden Administration and the Trump Administration are slightly different there I think while

39:14

both would enable a genocide and be happy to uh cast the Palestinians into

39:19

the dust bin of history or the gas chamber of History whatever it is with this uh full this live stream Holocaust

39:27

were witnessing uh and they would maybe differ in their rhetoric about the

39:33

Palestinians the the Democratic faction wants to make a deal with a kind of

39:39

reformist authority in Iran that would be similar in their minds to the camp David deal with Egypt

39:47

and they would slowly domesticate Iran and bring them in but also allow Iran to

39:52

have an economy and to be sort of a mid-level power maybe some time at some

39:57

point in the future it could be kind of like turkey um but the Republicans particularly Trump are under the

40:05

influence of a much more vitriolic rabid Zionist force uh led by the Adelson

40:13

family Sheldon adelon who said that he wished that the US would drop a nuclear

40:19

weapon on Iran uh who’s dead but his wife runs his fortune it’s a cutout for Israeli intelligence Adon and Netanyahu

40:27

are the same thing and they have full control over Trump Incorporated so I think uh until no

40:35

until next January we’re going to see some resistance by

40:41

Washington towards getting directly involved with Iran I mean another thing

40:47

we can look at is the sort of flotilla that the Biden Administration sent USS

40:52

Eisenhower an aircraft carrier as well as uh Destroyers Cruiser class ships to

40:58

the Mediterranean after October 7th as a message to Hezbollah that was their

41:04

attempt to kind of reassure Israel and tell them hey we’re not gonna let Iran or attack you and we’re gonna make sure

41:11

Hezbollah doesn’t overrun you but it was also a way of saying that’s as far as we’re going to go take it or leave it

41:19

um so that’s my that’s my view on and I could I could be proven

41:25

wrong but I would expect as long as Biden’s in there many more provocations

41:31

to come between now and November particularly possibly in October surprise on behalf of trump uh Netanyahu

41:39

certainly wants Trump in there and I think we’ll see provocations

41:45

in the United States something I’m incredibly afraid of is a kind of

41:50

anti-Semitic false flag attack or just an ant an actual anti-semitic lone wolf

41:56

attack uh which is is inspired by all of the violence that Israel is committing and the images of it that are spreading

42:02

like wildfire across the internet and we have people like aland dich who’s constantly um you know

42:11

reiterating the need to attack Iran uh whether that’s a surgical attack on its

42:17

quote unquote nuclear installation or whether it’s restoration of the B

42:23

Dynasty uh Max I want to very quickly uh ask you because uh it became a thing um

42:30

when we had Ben Norton and discussed your uh discussed uh uh the The

42:36

Narrative of sexual violence a lot of our viewers said that this is not fair because it was the gry Zone who reported

42:42

it and you guys spoke about the intercept so you were one of the F first to push back against the S the The

42:50

Narrative of systemic um sexual violence that was reported by the New York Times

42:55

but you know that was all over over the December 28th piece so I just wanted to ask you uh that was a bold thing to do I

43:03

remember reading that I remember watching you coming to a bad faith and talking about it what made you so

43:09

confident that uh uh the whole Narrative of systemic sexual violence was just the

43:17

Trope and by the way I have about 10 minutes before I have another interview but uh yeah we we pushed back against

43:25

the entire Israeli Narrative of October 7th because I know when Israeli officials are speaking publicly and

43:31

their mouths are moving they’re lying and they’re lying in order to manipulate the American public into giving them

43:37

something that the American public normally wouldn’t in this case space to commit genocide so it was important to

43:43

push back and you know working with researchers and our team I was able to

43:50

clinically go through all of the testimonies and allegations and demonstr

43:57

how they were inconsistent simply not true didn’t match up with the facts on the ground

44:04

for example the facts about who was killed in which kibuts and how they were

44:09

killed and what their name what their what their ages were they never matched up um I also understood how propaganda

44:17

is conveyed through mainstream media I know how sloppy these journalists are uh

44:22

and how Craven they are and determined to get pulet or priz and other Awards

44:28

and so I immediately sensed that this sexual violence narrative was being

44:35

planted and seeded in Western media because the other narratives had failed

44:40

for example beheaded babies and you know fetuses being cut from pregnant women uh

44:47

also the Israelis had been exposed for the Hannibal directive uh in which they

44:53

killed many people on October 7th who were is Israeli citizens to prevent them

44:59

from being taken Hostage to deprive Hamas of political leverage and we you know I knew about the Hannibal directive

45:06

because I’d covered it before back in 2014 when it became a public thing I was

45:11

on the ground in Rafa whereas executed against an Israeli soldier who’d been cap who’d been captured so uh I guess I

45:19

just had this background and I think other people who are familiar with Israeli

45:24

propaganda uh Publications that do this full time like electronic andata they

45:29

had the same sense we did and they went full bore against this narrative and now

45:36

it’s really clear that we were right we’ve been Vindicated uh and you know the intercept

45:42

came in late in the game and started um definitely stealing a lot of credit for what we did although they later credited

45:49

us uh but they you know did some reporting as well that demonstrated that even people inside the New York Times

45:56

staffers inside the New York Times knew this was bogus and were Furious about the New York Times front page screams

46:02

without words piece we now have a screams before silence the Cheryl

46:08

Sandberg documentary which is one it’s a collection of one lie after another um

46:14

which is free on YouTube is a major propaganda vehicle for Israel and you

46:21

know electronic and defat did a great takedown of it but there are there are constant testimonies coming out out that

46:28

need to be taken down day after day and that’s part of our mission at the gry Zone um it’s what we did with the fake

46:35

weager genocide narrative it’s what we did with the Syrian white helmets exposing them as a western intelligence

46:41

tool for triggering regime change War uh and by extension the Duma deception in

46:46

April 2018 the the the staged chemical attack in Syria uh so uh the the the

46:53

humanitarian Aid deception in Venezuela where maduro’s troops were or Security

46:59

forces were accused of burning us Aid we exposed that as fake um so we sort of

47:05

have a mission to fill the void uh that journal that that that

47:11

media that that that journalists are trained to do which is to expose the

47:17

propaganda of the powerful and the militaristic uh and not be stenographers

47:24

and so you know it’s not really uh that uh I don’t think it it’s that

47:30

significant that we were one of the first on the scene to expose this given our history at the gry Zone this is what

47:37

leads the Wikipedia to write about the gry zone that it’s a friend’s uh yeah website News website that supports

47:44

authoritarian regime but I just wanted to let you go with this final question if you can just wrap up in five minutes

47:50

um uh China seems to be or us China Foreign Relations or us China relation

47:58

uh seems to be um a very big deal at the moment of history that we stand in even

48:04

people like John M shimer A lot of positive things that he says is predicated on this on this notion that

48:11

our bigger enemy is China um there’s a lot that the uh Chinese regime is trying

48:17

to do even with talks like the Arab China peace uh Chinese negotiation of the Arab talks um a lot is going on uh

48:25

uh lot of attempts are going on to destabilize the South China Sea so if you can quickly uh wrap up uh this uh uh

48:33

this podcast by sharing your thoughts about uh America China

48:38

relationship and just quickly on our Wikipedia page we were that page was set

48:44

up by our enemies many of whom seem to have some in affiliation with the

48:51

intelligence services and at the same time you were not allowed to site our work anywhere on

48:58

Wikipedia we are a deprecated source so they call we’re such a fringe publication that they obsess over us and

49:04

created a page to bch our reputation but we’re such a threat that you’re not

49:10

allowed to site us um this is not a people’s encyclopedia and one of the

49:15

things that we’re attacked for is clinically exposing the weager genocide

49:21

to be a gigantic hoax manufactured by operatives

49:27

sponsored by the state department to impose sanctions on China increase the conflict with China and drive The

49:34

Narrative of the new Cold War that’s from China’s West to China’s East you have Taiwan where the US supports the

49:42

most extreme political forces is violating Chinese sovereignty by moving weapons onto Taiwan sees Taiwan as the

49:50

next Ukraine and has financial and economic reasons for seeking conflict

49:56

with China over the Taiwan straight and in the South China Sea I mean the US economy is

50:03

is thriving at least a portion a part of it is thriving the average person doesn’t feel it because of the uh

50:11

military aid to Ukraine 63 billion of the 95 billion according to a Wall

50:17

Street Journal analysis that was just uh guaranteed to Ukraine and Israel is coming straight

50:23

back into the US economy so that’s part of the reason there’s conflict with China another part is ideological that

50:29

China is one of the last ostensibly communist or socialist countries standing that it’s the emerging economic

50:38

superpower that it’s competing with the US in AI um Apple stocks are hurting

50:44

because Huawei has now achieved 5G and is it its chips are at least as advanced

50:50

as apples so China does pose a a threat to us unipolar domination and there’s no

50:57

it’s no surprise that Victoria nland who was the author of the 2014 maidan cou in

51:04

Ukraine and had been managing this proxy war in Ukraine was pushed out as

51:09

assistant Secretary of State and replaced with Kurt Campbell who is the author of the pivot to Asia the US would

51:16

like to get this pivot going and it’s really a pivot to war but it can’t

51:21

because it remains bogged down with this war in Gaza and the Ukraine War drags

51:29

on um from China’s point of view uh China is in an advantageous

51:38

position on it from a purely at least from an intern perspective of international relations and China’s soft

51:44

power they’re in an advantageous position because the rules-based order which has been pushed by the Biden

51:52

Administration and this Tony blinkin state department has been full ful exposed through Gaza and China’s waiting

52:00

in the wings to actually emerge as a true Diplomat if there is to be any

52:07

resolution to these conflicts in the Middle East it could be China and Russia replacing the us as an actually honest

52:14

broker U but I think that’s years down the line Max uh thanks for your time and I’m

52:21

(Michael Hudson-en bidetik)

the only way of stopping what’s happening in Gaza happening in the rest of the world is to create an alternative to the United Nations, an alternative to the World Bank, to the IMF, an alternative to all the organizations that the United States has controlled to turn the whole rest of the world into Gaza,
