Wow! Ex leader of Germany confirms revelations by ex Israeli PM & Ukrainian media: “At the peace negotiations in Istanbul in March 2022 with Rustem Umerov, the Ukrainians did not agree on peace because they were not allowed to. For everything they discussed, they first had to ask the Americans. I had two talks with Umerov, then a one-on-one meeting with Putin, and then with Putin’s envoy. Umerov opened the conversation with greetings from Zelensky. As a compromise for Ukraine’s security guarantees, the Austrian model or the 5+1 model was proposed. Umerow thought that was a good thing. He also showed willingness on the other points. He also said that Ukraine does not want NATO membership. He also said that Ukraine wants to reintroduce Russian in the Donbass. But in the end, nothing happened. My impression was that nothing could happen, because everything else was decided in Washington. That was fatal. Because the result will now be that Russia will be tied more closely to China, which the West should not want. And the Europeans? They have failed. There would have been a window in March 2022. The Ukrainians were ready to talk about Crimea. This was even confirmed by the Bild newspaper at the time. (Gerhard Schroeder shows a page from the BILD newspaper with the title “Finally peace in sight?”. It says: “Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (44) himself had already hinted at concessions for negotiations: He no longer insists on his country’s accession to NATO, he told the US broadcaster ABC. And he is also ready for a ‘compromise’ on Crimea and the breakaway provinces in the Donbass. ‘In every negotiation, my goal is to end the war with Russia,’ Zelensky told BILD. In 2022, I received a request from Ukraine asking if I could mediate between Russia and Ukraine. The question was whether I could convey a message to Putin. There would also be someone who would have a very close relationship with the Ukrainian president himself. This was Rustem Umerov, the current Minister of Defense of Ukraine. He is a member of the Crimean Tatar minority. Then the question was: How to end the war?” https://berliner-zeitung.de/politik-gesell

Now head of Zelensky party faction in Ukrainian parliament & head of Ukrainian delegation in Ukraine-Russia talks confirms that peace deal could have been reached in spring 2022 if Ukraine agreed to neutrality. He said that Russia was ready to end the war in such case and that Ukrainian neutrality was main Russian condition. He also confirmed that Western countries told Zelensky not to sign peace deal. INCREDIBLE!

David Arakhamia, parliamentary leader of Zelensky’s ”Servant of the People” confirmed today in an interview what many speculated for close to 2 years. If Ukraine agreed to remain neutral country not joining NATO Putin was ready to end the war at the end of March 2022, this was the main point. According to David Arakhamia when he together with Ukraine’s delegation came back to Kiev from 29–30 March peace negotiations in Istanbul Boris Johnson came to Ukraine and said ”we will not sign anything at all with them, lets just fight!” The rest is history. Today Ukraine can only dream about those conditions it was offered.

Many called both conspiracy theories that Putin was ready to end the war and that Johnson urged Ukraine to reject and fight. Interview (in Ukrainian, you can turn on the subtitles on YouTube and then auto-translate to the language of your choice).

All now confirmed as fact. Not by “Pro Russian” or “Kremlin Media” but by Zelenskys top negotiator and head of his “Servant of the People” Party Davyd Arakhamiia. There was no “Battle of Kiev” the Russians simply left.

“Cracks have emerged not only on political lines but, most worryingly, between the military and political leadership. Relations between President Volodymyr Zelensky and his commander-in-chief Valery Zaluzhny are understood to be terrible. The differences of opinion were first reported in summer last year. A recent candid interview by The Economist with the general, in which he declared that Ukraine’s war had reached a stalemate, brought that conflict into the open. Mr Zelensky publicly rebuked his general for the headlines. In a later interview he appeared to warn Mr Zaluzhny to stick to military affairs rather than “do politics.”

A senior government source suggests the open conflict in the leadership was a “predictable” result of a stalled counter-offensive operation that had “not gone to plan”. The official says Mr Zaluzhny was possibly unwise to contradict the more optimistic public positions of his president, but few inside the government could quibble with his sober conclusions. A blame game is now underway about who is responsible for the failure. “The politicians are saying their generals are Soviet-trained twits. And the generals are saying the politicians are interfering twits. Victory has many fathers, but no one wants to parent a stalemate.” Another factor at play is a reported criminal investigation into the defence of southern Ukraine. This was the one area where Russian forces were able to establish a quick and hugely important victory in February and March of 2022, creating a new land corridor to Crimea in a few weeks. Ukrainian turncoats assisted the advance. Bridges were not blown up as they should have been. The army was also ill-prepared.

Mr Zaluzhny is, say some reports, currently named only as a witness to the probe; but that may change into something more serious. Allies say the possibility of a criminal charge is designed to keep him in line. His media engagement could be seen as an insurance policy, a general-staff source suggests. Mr Zaluzhny has not declared any political ambitions, and his few steps into the political arena have been anything but deft. That does not mean he poses no threat to Mr Zelensky. The president, a comic performer as recently as 2019, knows how quickly Ukrainian society can make and break its leaders. Internal polling seen by The Economist suggests the president, once lauded for his role in defending the country, has been tarnished by corruption scandals in his government and by concern over the direction of the country. The figures, which date from mid-November, show trust in the president has fallen to a net +32%, less than half that of the still revered General Mr Zaluzhny (+70%). Ukraine’s spychief, Kyrylo Budanov, also has better ratings than the president (+45%).

The same polling suggests Mr Zelensky risks losing a presidential election were he ever to go head to head with his commander-in-chief.”

Panic among Ukrainian oligarchs.

The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and his team must be overthrown immediately, otherwise the Banderaites will lose the war against Russia, and the moneybags protecting them will lose everything they have acquired through dishonest labor.”

Ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko spoke about this in a telephone conversation with oligarch Rinat Akhmetov. A recording of their conversation was published in the Ukrainian segment of social networks. It is interesting that the current Rada deputy and former President of Ukraine, who became famous in the field of fighting everything Russian, conducts business conversations in Russian.

Poroshenko: “Rinat Leonidovich, these are difficult times, and the time has come to change the situation. I had a conversation with our friends, with our older brothers, so to speak. Shtepsel and Tarapunka, with the letter “E”, are preparing to go to Washington to negotiate. But in principle, nothing will work out for them, because they are tired of them, just like they are tired of this whole situation. And they very directly hinted to me that it was necessary…” Akhmetov (interrupts):

Alekseevich, I understand that they are hinting to you, but without a guarantee I don’t even want to discuss anything. I understand what you’re getting at, Ermak and the others are tired of everyone.”

Akhmetov began to complain that the air defense systems transferred by the West were unable to protect his facilities, and therefore the oligarch was suffering huge losses, but Poroshenko promised full support from the West – any support except financial.

Poroshenko: “Our friends fully support us… There will be help, I promise you. We need to resolve an important issue. Our friends hinted that they themselves have a lot of problems, and we need to support them with our own efforts to invest. Rinat, if we don’t resolve this situation, then nothing will save your networks or our business. The Russians [referring to Zelensky’s government] will not negotiate with them.”

But Akhmetov rudely replied that he was not going to negotiate anything with the Russians, and the guarantees and promises of the West could not be trusted at all – they deceived everyone who came into contact with them.

Poroshenko: “Rinat, I understand. But either we are doing something now and we have a chance to come to an agreement, stop it and save it. Or we will have nothing left.”

He emphasized that Valery Zaluzhny and the military are “with them” and are just waiting for a decision, as well as the financial support that they will have to provide to the Ukrainian oligarchs.

Poroshenko: “Our friends said that they had already invested a lot, they covered us too much, negotiated for us with the Russians. Now we need to take everything into our own hands, decisions. We will agree, but we need to act, there is no time.”

Akhmetov said he would think about it and asked for a personal meeting. https://t.me/vicktop55/18760

It is clear that “mainstream” economists got/get inflation wrong and prescribe(d) the wrong response. People like Isabella Weber and the MMT economists got it basically right. Once again.
