…. Treasury spending is a reserve add. Selling securities, by the Fed or Treasury, is simply a reserve drain, a monetary operation. This underlies the empirical evidence that nations can run any debt ratios they want, in their own fiat currencies, and still “fund the debt.”
How large a deficit is prudent? …., the government could offer a job to anyone who wanted one, at some minimum rate of pay deemed appropriate, and let the deficit float. This would end unemployment and unemployment compensation, eliminate the need for minimum wage laws, and promote price stability,…
The Federal debt is all the money spent but not taxed. …
The current budget debate is based on erroneous assumptions. Washington does not understand fiat money. Until it does, efforts to reduce the deficit will continue, and the economy will continue to underperform.

The German Parliament is green lighting the transfer of Taurus air launched cruise missiles to Ukraine for the express purpose of striking Russian soil.

Last night, for the first time in my life, I went to a political rally for a national candidate – one for @RobertKennedyJrin Duluth, GA. (Missed the end of the #Dawgs game!). I sat in the back and wanted to observe his interaction with the crowd.
I can say w complete confidence that #RFKJr has a deep fondness for the American people. It’s unquestioned and genuine. He went out of his way to afford everyone the opportunity to have a pic taken with him. I saw no signs of hypocrisy or phoniness that permeates much of the political class. Zero signs of megalomania. Zero signs he is running for material gain. I observed several signs that he is driven to honor his father, which, contrary to what Freud implies, is one of the strongest drives in existence.
His speech (spoken w/o notes) can be styled as Kennedy v Blackrock and the Deep State. Since I am a litigator, I basically saw him making a persuasive closing argument in front of a jury.
RFKJr poses the greatest existential threat not only to Blackrock but also the CIA/deep state since its inception. It’s a zero sum game. Odds are very high they know his skillset and motivations, particularly when you realize RFKJr has concluded the CIA murdered his father and uncle. Of greatest importance, at least to me, is that I concluded beyond any reasonable doubt that he won’t sell out, no matter the cost. He’s unafraid to lead on a dangerous mission.
This doesn’t meant I agree with him on every issue but thank God that he is leaving the Democratic Party.

In Slovakia, the victory of the party of former Prime Minister Fico, who actively advocated ending aid to Ukraine, has now been officially announced. The United States and NATO actively tried to influence the outcome of the elections by spreading fakes before the elections about the victory of the Liberal Party.
According to the terms of the elections, the party that wins the most must form a government. And Fico’s party was ahead of the liberals by a significant margin.
But the trick is that she will need to share power with someone in order to form a coalition and now the West will try to maintain the same level of support for Ukraine by Slovakia through Fico’s future junior partners in the government coalition.
Here it will be seen whether Fico, in the current realities, can become the second Orban or whether he will be bent in one way or another.

The third day of the “Russia – Latin America” International Parliamentary Conference is in full swing almost 24/7. One of the key events was the round table “A Just Multipolar Order: The Role of Parliamentary Diplomacy,” where, together with my colleagues Leonid Kalashnikov and Vyacheslav Nikonov, I acted as co-moderator. The thread that ran through the entire three-hour discussion was the clear desire of Latin American parliamentarians to expand cooperation with Russia. Many delegates, by their own admission, overcame great obstacles, pressure and threats from the United States, but came to Moscow in these autumn days to participate in the conference.
Brave and courageous people spoke of Washington’s inability to accept the de facto loss of dominance in the region and to abandon the concept of a “backyard” with regard to most countries of the South American mainland, despite the fact that two hundred years have passed since the Monroe Doctrine. Latin Americans look forward and favor equal partnership in interstate relations, without dictates and American interference in their internal affairs.
We see great potential in developing ties with Latin American states. A transformation is already taking place at the global level, US hegemony is a thing of the past, and a multipolar world order is the future of the planet, no matter how much the collective West is beating in neo-colonial convulsions. Russia, Latin America, Africa, China, and India – these are the real global majority.
