It is only after the deficit begins to expand again that the economy recovers. The historical correlation is 100%….
Contrary to general perception, fiat money is driven by the fact that taxpayers need the government’s money to pay their taxes. … so it can obtain the real goods and services it desires via the spending of its currency.
…. Treasury spending is a reserve add. Selling securities, by the Fed or Treasury, is simply a reserve drain, a monetary operation. This underlies the empirical evidence that nations can run any debt ratios they want, in their own fiat currencies, and still “fund the debt.”
How large a deficit is prudent? …., the government could offer a job to anyone who wanted one, at some minimum rate of pay deemed appropriate, and let the deficit float. This would end unemployment and unemployment compensation, eliminate the need for minimum wage laws, and promote price stability,…
The Federal debt is all the money spent but not taxed. …
The current budget debate is based on erroneous assumptions. Washington does not understand fiat money. Until it does, efforts to reduce the deficit will continue, and the economy will continue to underperform.

So the Pentagon is in talks to develop a civilian port in islands belonging to the Philippines less than 125 miles from Taiwan.
Of course it’s not a civilian port and the entire world, including it’s vassal states, if they were honest knows it’s a blatantly provocative move by the US to antagonise Beijing.
US is desperate for China to invade Taiwan. Beijing needs as we have said previously to do nothing. Time is on their side, for the US it’s rapidly running out.
The port itself is symbolic and nothing more. It’s a psychological weapon. After all the US is never going to go to war directly with China.

We here the rhetoric and lies daily, of how Russia invades Ukraine, are savages, murderers, killers, etc. However when one sees how Russia is welcomed by those they liberated the reality does not match the claims.
The people seem to welcome, trust and even love the Russian troops. The interactions are organic and clear for all to see. They do not stay silent, run or hide from the Russians, instead they welcome them as heros, and rush to them.

The bad takes around this “new map” are so ridiculous, it’s actually funny.
Fact is this “new” map isn’t new at all, there is 0 new claimed territory here, and there hasn’t been for decades.
Besides Taiwan – which everyone knows about – the 2 most contentious areas are:
- The border with India, mostly Arunachal Pradesh (part of India but China claims it as “Zangnan”) and Aksai Chin (part of China but India claims it as part of Ladakh). This isn’t new at all, these disputes were inherited from the British empire and China & India fought a war over it in 1962!
- Then there is the famous “9-dash line” in the South China Sea (confusingly shownwith a 10th dash to the East of Taiwan, which isn’t new either, that’s been the case for 10+ years). The claims in the South China Sea are also extremely ancient because the PRC inherited them from the ROC after winning the civil war in 1949! And if anything the claims have reduced since then because what the PRC inherited from the ROC was a 11-dash line and in 1952 Mao decided to remove two of the dashes in the Gulf of Tonkin amid warming ties with North Vietnam. The ROC (the government in Taiwan) still claims the former 11-dash line. Otherwise, people don’t realize that China has resolved – peacefully and through diplomacy – all its other land disputes. This actually makes it the country on earth that’s resolved the most territorial disputes peacefully. Land disputes resolved peacefully include those with: Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Myanmar, North Korea, Nepal, Tajikistan and Vietnam (the land border only, a dispute over the SCS still exists)! And again the ROC (the government in Taiwan) doesn’t recognize any of these resolutions, they still view all the territories involved as disputed.

Searches near Kolomoisky were carried out back in February. But somehow, in the end, it died out. Then Zelensky failed to devour his creator, who at one time promoted him to the top of power by sponsoring the election campaign.
But there was a time when one of the most powerful people in Ukraine, who is called Benya, was considered inviolable. Tectonic shifts began in the internal politics of Ukraine. And we will observe who will fall under the rink of the not funny Zelensky for a long time.

A school destroyed by a shell opened in Mariupol on September 1
The builders restored it over the summer – teachers and parents still do not believe in this miracle!
On September 1, 25 schools opened their doors to students. One of them is completely new (in a new microdistrict), several schools have started working after reconstruction. Among them is school No. 9, which was hit by a shell in 2022 during the fighting in the city. For a whole year it stood destroyed, but this year it was restored in record time.
