In a live interview with Al Jazeera television, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told the TV channel the reason for the NATO alliance refusing Ukraine entry into NATO is not because NATO would be drawn into war with Russia.

She stated NATO is already at war with Russia, and the true reason for the denial is that allowing Ukraine into NATO would require official recognition of Ukraine’s borders.

On this day, 80 years ago, Ukrainian Nazis attacked a Polish village and killed 8,000 people — mostly women and children.

This “Bloody Sunday” was a part of “Volyn Massacre” in which #Ukraine‘s Nazis killed 100,000 Poles.

The leader of Ukrainian #Nazi collaborators was Stepan Bandera, who is now a hero – almost like the father of the nation – celebrated with statues, streets, stamps and even a national holiday.

Ukraine’s NATO membership was 404 at Vilnius. No schedule, no commitment, no pathway, just the vague possibility of a future conditional invite.

The reason: the United States already knows its proxy army has failed, the only unknown is the scale of the failure. There may not be a functioning Ukraine left to invite.

NATO can’t fast-track Ukraine’s membership while it’s in a state of conflict because that would obligate the alliance to defend it. That means fighting Russia directly and NATO doesn’t want that obligation. It knows that it can’t take Russia head on and that it would be extremely costly if it tried.

Stoltenberg basically said the quiet part out loud: if Ukraine doesn’t win on the battlefield then NATO membership is a non-issue.

Speaking during a briefing on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania, Wallace acknowledged the importance of acknowledging support. When asked about President Zelenskiy’s remarks regarding the “absurdity” of being welcomed into the alliance without specific dates or conditions, Wallace stated, “Whether we like it or not, people want to see a bit of gratitude.”

During the briefing, Wallace also revealed that he had visited Ukraine last year, where he was presented with a list of requested weapons. He humorously remarked, “You know, we’re not Amazon. I made that clear last year when I drove 11 hours just to receive a list.”
