Joan Robinson

Joan Robinson ekonomialari fina zen, pentsatzen duen horrelako bat. Marxista kritikoa. Aspaldian existitzen ez den marxista kritiko horrelakoa[1].

(Orain marxismoa erlijio bilakatu dute: testu sakratuak eta biblia zaharrak etengabe errepikatuz eta haien exegesia behin eta berriz argitaratu, erabat aspertu arte.)

Aspaldian arakatu nituen Robinson-en zenbait testu interesgarri. Bat soilik aipatzearren hona oraindik irakurtzeak merezi duena, berak dibulgaziorako idatzitakoa: Economic Philosophy: An essay on the progress of economic thought.

Robinson-en bi aipu:

..the misery of being exploited by capitalists is nothing compared to the misery of not being exploited at all.”

The purpose of studying economics is not to acquire a set of ready-made answers to economic questions, but to learn how to avoid being deceived by economists.”

Orain The Guardian egunkariak editoriala dedikatu dio[2]. Bejondeiola!

  1. The economic horror:

    Book: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0745619940

    L’horreur economique : http://bilbo.economicoutlook.net/blog/?p=7679

    Viviane Forrester says that:

“The panaceas of work-experience and re-training often do nothing more than reinforce the fact that there is no real role for the unemployed. They come to realize that there is something worse than being exploited, and that is not even to be exploitable …”

    Remember Joan Robinson:

“… the misery of being exploited by capitalists is nothing compared to the misery of not being exploited at all.”

L’horreur Economique is one of those books that you just go back to from time to time to remind yourself of the message – just in case you have moved on to the vilification of the aged and left the unemployed behind.
